The wolf's destiny

The wolf's destiny

Her guardian angel certainly put in extra effort for her. Although the anguish intensified, the moisture on her skin that was chilled by the cool breeze and the blood that covered her turtleneck made her feel even colder. Something approached her. She inhaled the aromas and listened intently to the sound of its scrambling. When she baked apple pies, made specialty soups and hot, spicy chili, and decorated with pumpkins, squash, and vibrant mums—colors that complemented her flaming red hair and green eyes—it was a cold, crisp autumn with a hint of wetness in the air. Autumn, her favorite season,

The Charmer

The Charmer

With nearly thirty books and seven series, she continues to thrill fans with her werewolves, dragons, elementals, gargoyles and trolls with a thing for Poe. She spent most of her life in Alaska, including several winters in a cabin in the woods, where she became intimately acquainted with outhouses, generators and woodstoves. Her years of snow machines, boating and mosquitoes convinced her to move her family to Washington, where she basks in the “tropical” winters. A very good story. I loved its uniqueness and it's richness. The world you created was vast, imaginative, and the Adventure was exciting, heart warming, and often funny. The characters had depth, flaws, and they always kept me guessing. I loved it. I can't wait to read the sequals.

This would probably be one of my favorite novels in this platform. Beautifully written chapters, and a very well-made plot. You can't help but be enchanted by the characters of the book as well. I had fun reading it up to the end.

The Haunted Vibrator

The Haunted Vibrator

No Nut November month started on a busy note as more students crammed into the library for studying sessions. The reading program for elementary students meant more people were borrowing books they usually didn’t read to collect stars on their reading cards to exchange some prizes decided for the school. Mary sighed. It was a busy week.

The Billion Dollar Bet

The Billion Dollar Bet

The kind meant for older kids but that August had started gravitating toward because picture books didn't have enough words. "This one is about a robot who wants to be an astronaut." Carter held up the first book. "And this one is about deep sea creatures. Real ones, not made up. And this one—" He pulled out a thick hardcover. "This one is about how bridges are built. It has diagrams." August's eyes went huge. He took the bridge book with both hands like Carter had given him something precious. Opened to the first page where there was indeed a detailed diagram of bridge architecture. "This is mine? To keep?"

Tears gently fell from his eyes as he read Grace’s favourite poem. “The sunny days are fewer; The morning dew dances on the grass, A little fog to let through gently the rays. A slower awakening of nature, A bit more chilly, so put on that jacket, Autumn is here. The remains of warmer days, Are still to be found in nature, And what a beauty! Stand still for a moment, Smell the flowers.”

This is a really nice book, surprisingly good for this platform. Needs a lot of proofreading ,(please, vocative comas are your friends! Use them!), but overall it's a good story. Well developed characters, interesting plot and a HEA ending, of course. Congrats to the author!

She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

he grinned. I found myself grinning along with him. I’d loved summer the most as a human, but since leaving Hollowbridge I’d begun to prefer autumn. It was warm and comforting, and I felt less lonely as the nights drew in earlier. I felt less obligated to busy myself, choosing instead to read by candlelight and watch the rain trickle down the window panes.

I am loving this beautifully written book! The author takes the time to craft the characters and the ways the natural world mirrors this inner world. I love that this is a very different kind of Alpha!

MY ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND

MY ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND

"Well, it's my house. And guess what? My house, my rules." Autumn scoffed and picked up the book where she had thrown it. She went through it again, and she laughed as she flipped the pages. She couldn't believe her eyes. "You're a joker," she said to him. Then, she wiggled the book in the air. "This thick thing contains up to a thousand rules, and you expect me to follow them all?!" "There are just a hundred of them. Stop acting like it's up to a million or more," he said and walked to the gas.

Raven's Waking Dream

Raven's Waking Dream

I blush while looking over at Raven who approaches me with a few books in hand. “What did you find?” I question while holding up a pair of shorts checking if they will fit. I smiled when I see Rebecca grabbing tank tops in colors, she knows I love. “I found a couple pregnancy books that look good, and I found this one of Viking stories it reminds me of Vaari,” Raven answers while showing me the books and I smile remembering Mummo Adaline and Vaari Jyrki always reading us stories. “They look good, thank you,” I smile while grabbing the story book and open it seeing that it looks like Mummo’s book or at least the illustrations do.

Where The Autumn Wind Blows

Where The Autumn Wind Blows

And Gavin—well, Gavin’s three hours away, counting down the days until graduation, already acting like he’s got one foot out the door. Gemma texted me last night: You ever feel like you’re suffocating, even when the window’s open? I didn’t know how to answer. I keep thinking about summer, the salt wind and the laughter and the promises we made, but autumn isn’t summer. –And the truth is, maybe none of us are the same anymore. The thing about autumn is that it looks prettier than it feels. Everyone talks about the leaves—red, orange, gold, the whole cliché—but no one talks about the gray sky behind them, or the way the air smells like endings.
