STEP BROTHER DEAREST

STEP BROTHER DEAREST

Chapter 19 The slip of paper wouldn’t leave me alone. I kept it tucked in my pocket during the day, under my pillow at night, like a secret I couldn’t bear to let go of—but couldn’t bring myself to share. The words pulsed in my mind whenever I touched it, sharp and insistent: *You are stronger than you think.* Strength. It sounded noble, even reassuring. But the truth was, strength was lonely. Strength meant carrying something alone. And every time Ian looked at me with those steady, searching eyes, I felt the distance growing.

My Ex's Uncle Claims Me as His Luna

My Ex's Uncle Claims Me as His Luna

“I know it’s hard.” She didn’t move. “You feel like you don’t belong. Like no matter what you do, it won’t be enough.” My voice was stable, but something about saying it out loud made my throat tighten. “But you’re not alone in that.” A beat of silence. Then— “Do you still feel that way?” Her voice was small, but it sliced through me like a blade. I swallowed hard, forcing a smile. “Sometimes, but I learned something important. Strength isn’t just in shifting or running. It’s in how you handle the things you can’t change.”

Frame Of Mind

Frame Of Mind

'Mr. Rockwell, are you listening?' I said and stood up from my desk. My cabin was like a medium-sized room with a shelf on the left full of files of my clients. There was another shelf on the right-hand side in the corner which had many books mostly about psychopathy and some books related to calm someone's mind. I mostly recommend that ones to my patients. In the middle of the room was my table, I had one chair on the wall side for me, behind my chair there was a window. A beautiful lawn could be seen from there.

Once Upon A Rejected Luna

Once Upon A Rejected Luna

I want to win and I am strengthened in every way that I never thought one could possibly be strengthened. “I hold all of that to myself, not any of that crap.” I say to myself and I need to remember that. The next time you speak, try to come up with this to be talk about how you're the reason for my strength will never the reason for my strength. “I am the reason for my strength training will always be like that.” Do not ever forget that. Yeah, you can see that as much as you want. But I did what I thought I needed to do to help you. I will get the most out of your way. Max says.

My Blessing

My Blessing

I would look at the problem name Rahul hanging on us later on, lets enjoy the some moments of peace life bestowed me with. 'BEING A GOOD WIFE.' Book in my hand caught my eyeballs. How could I expect anything more better from him? " Mr Selfish. I will see you." I said banging the book on the mattress. Who does wants to know the secrets of being a good wife? What does he think of himself? Does he mean that I am not a good wife and that the reason he wants me to read all this bullshit stuff. I will also gift you a bundle of books titled 'The Million Ways of Using Your Brain' , 'Being a Sensible Husband.', 'The Art of Being Alive', 'Taming the Beast Within You.' ...and some more...Huhh.

Her Power

Her Power

I looked up and saw all eyes on me, soaking in every word, I smiled and looked back at my notes, “After all these, Victor Ejiofor dropped a note, “Over the course of two months, I have studied the meditations of the stoics so as to achieve peace and perhaps unlock a single encompassing rule to mental development. I wouldn’t call myself a master but one rule was most emphasized, “As often as you can remind yourself of the things that you can control and the things you can’t, when you dedicate your mental power to the former, things might not necessarily get better but their effects would bother you a lot less. When this happens, you might find peace or some semblance of it.” I let out a breat

The Wrong Woman

The Wrong Woman

It was cluttered with books and materials of all sorts. Several opened books were scattered on the computer table, with red marks and notes scrawled across the pages. Someone had been studying very hard there. Nathan slowly walked over and flipped through the books. Psychology? He frowned as he took in the room. He saw a lot of books on the shelf that didn't belong to him. His gaze was locked on the titles. "Best Ways to Handle Toxic People". "The Key to Overcoming Nasty People" "Foundations of Psychology" Nathan's lips curled slightly as a smirk played on his face.

The story between Chubs and Nate got pretty dragging but I can't complaint, since I did end up loving this novel more than I thought I would. Halfway through 1088 chapters, things got more interesting and the ending was pretty good. Thanks for making the stories worth reading.

I really like the book, i've been stuck on it since i've found it .. it's just that the chapters are too short, it's basically a money grab... irritating that you can't read for at least 2-5 mins without having to pay for a new chapter.

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Lies Between the Lines

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Lies Between the Lines

After that, I spend an hour in the gym downstairs, and then I grab some lunch before wandering into the rec room with a book my dad sent me called Finding Your Center: The Busy Woman's Guide to Inner Peace and Tranquility. I make it three pages before I start to feel antsy. It's too easy to let my mind wander while I'm reading. My thoughts keep going back to my argument with Luca last night. Or to our practice session last week. Or to a dozen other little things I've promised myself I won't think about.

HOLY HOTS

HOLY HOTS

The older lady patted her shoulder lightly while returning the smile then headed back to her business leaving Amy behind. "Where do I start from?" Confused Amelia whispered. "What kind of Christian books would be less boring?" She exhaled deeply while her fingers traced through the books on the shelf. “‘Ahaha!” exclaimed confused Amy as she picked out a book from the shelf. “What could this be about?” wondered Amy while she read the synopsis of the book in her hand. She read out in an undertone, “Filled with faith and inspiration, Break Out will challenge you to build a new prespective, let nothing hold you back…” Nodding her head in concurrence to the words she read, “ hmmmmm…. I certainly

The Strength to Start Over

The Strength to Start Over

When the time came for my acceptance speech, I stood on the stage with the reward in my hand and looked out at the audience. So many young, bright, hopeful faces filled the hall. "Once, I believed marriage was a safe harbor. Because of someone who did not deserve it, I nearly lost myself and my life." I paused. "But later I realized something important. No one should live as someone else's accessory. The pursuit of one's own value is the only thing that lasts. "This award belongs to me, to my team, and to everyone who refuses to surrender when life turns against them. "No matter what you face, remember this. You always have the strength to start over."
