He began making up a story. Slowly. "There was once..." He smiled. "...a very stubborn little fox." Peanut gasped. "Like Cookie!" Thomas laughed. "Very much like Cookie." "The fox believed every shiny thing was treasure." Peanut nodded enthusiastically. "Smart fox." "The fox met a little bird..." He turned another page. "...who wasn't afraid of storms." Peanut leaned closer. Listening. Completely captivated. Thomas kept going. Inventing the story as he turned each page.

I had never accounted for an obsessive king who seemed determined to pull me into his bed. “Scheur, it seems you’re on cleaning His Majesty’s bedroom again,” a fellow maid said, looking at the new list. I groaned, resting my forehead against my palm. “What’s with the face?” someone asked. “She’s just angry the king won’t fuck her yet,” another said in a teasing tone. I grimaced. The last thing I wanted was that man’s attention. “You think they have already fucked?” someone else asked. The others giggled. “No way. If they did, she wouldn’t be walking properly,” another added. Laughter broke out around the table. My cheeks burned with barely contained anger.

" In this way, Theia, educate me concerning your number one things. How would you help fun?" I contemplated his inquiry, my considerations floating back to my grandma's cabbage store and the ameliorating routine I had become used to. " I appreciate investing energy with my grandma," I started, my voice touched with wistfulness. " What's more, I have an affection for books. Stories have an approach to shipping me to various universes." Marcus gestured, his eyes illuminating with interest. " Books are a window to innumerable undertakings. What's the most enrapturing story you've perused?"

Even the sofa had her smell. I went into her closet, the one I built for her and hung around for a while. I looked around the clothe filled space until my eyes caught sight of a small leather bound book in the make up table. I walked to the make up table and picked up the book. It was beauty and the beast. I remembered her saying that it was one of her favorite stories. I was not much for fairy tales because nothing about my life was fantastic. All I knew growing up was out to kill a man and how to wield a knife and also how to shoot a gun.

I called gently, urging him to share what he thought about what I had just read. All of a sudden , Declan burst into a deep, throaty laugh. I stared at him, confused, wondering what could possibly be amusing about what I had just read or if he hadn’t even heard me properly. “What’s so funny?” I asked. Then Declan finally reined in his laughter and composed himself. “The story is ridiculous!” he said. I exhaled in relief; he’d heard what I read, grasped it, and Thankfully just like the usual character of declan, he did not take to heart. “Yeah, right,” I agreed.

Unrelated, but my sister and I were planning a Christmas holiday and swapping some absolutely wild holiday stories when I suddenly came up with a hilarious story idea. And honestly? I’m still blown away by how good it is! It’ll probably be one of those standalone books I told you all about earlier, and I just know you lot are going to love it. It’s soooo good!!!!! I can barely keep it to myself. I’m literally shaking with excitement. I cannot wait for you guys to experience all of this. Finally… Isn’t it rather funny that both Alex and River are love-triangle books?! SCREAMING. Love you guys!!!

"What? You don't read these?" "No, I don't have time to waste on those things. I prefer researching, I like to find more information about a variety of herbs that could treat people." Lui Xian scoffed and felt that Feng Shao was deprived of his childhood. Everyone enjoyed these stories either they read themselves or through storytelling. "You should try reading these kinds of stories sometimes. They are quite fun." Feng Shao thought about it and brushed it off. He reached for another fruit and took a bite giving him space to read it in quietness.

I smiled, intrigued by her enthusiasm, and leaned back in my chair, silently encouraging her to continue. Sophia launched into a series of stories, each one more silly and entertaining than the last. She told me about the time she had accidentally spilled coffee all over her shirt and had to walk out of the shop with a giant stain on her chest. She told me about the time she had tried to order a complicated coffee drink and had ended up with a concoction that was completely undrinkable. And she told me about the time she had met a friend at the coffee shop and had ended up getting into a heated argument with him over something ridiculous. As she talked, I found myself becoming more and more

Zac said in a funny way but it seemed like Caroline didn’t enjoy the joke at all. Caroline glared at Zac with hatred. “Please don’t mind him” I said to end the awkwardness. She ignored me and moved forward towards the kitchen. “Well. Here is the spot where I usually find my daughters spoiling the food most of the times” my father giggled to make the environment funny. “Come on. Not all the times dad.” Anna laughed. The kitchen was an open galley style with top quality appliances, storage galore, all the cooking utensils you would find at home, and fabulous views.

Then I moved away from the window, and turned to look at the books which all looked amusing. I reached out to the bottom of the shelf and removed a book from it. Then I dusted it off, and sneezed as the dust got into my nostrils. These books must have been here for a long time, and that means it’s all about history. Hmm! Things are about to get interesting. “Story of the Rainbow?” I scoffed and bit my lips, then opened the book. I flipped through the pages, awed by the writings and the pictures which were inside.
