We settled on a gloriously ridiculous romantic comedy with far-fetched meet-cutes, wedding hijinks, and the cheesiest slow-motion kiss I’d ever seen. So, I pick some movie that looks like it won’t be scary. “Rom com. Nice!” Xander says when I make my choice. “What’s rom com?” I ask. “Romantic comedy. No horror, it's a sweet, romantic style movie.” “Oh, I can pick something else, it doesn’t have to be a romance…” I start to say. “It’s fine. 50 First Dates is a good one.” “Okay.” Xander sets us up in his room, pulling his love seat in front of his bed so we could sit and watch the movie rather than laying on his bed which would have been very uncomfortable for me.

My brows narrowed in confusion after listening to his words. “What do you mean?” “I mean that you’re seriously busy in the extra class of romance with me.” He spoke, yanking me to him by snaking his arm around my waist. “You’re crazy, Jonathan.” I slightly hit his chest, and we both laughed. ‘I love the way how easily he changed my mood and made me laugh. I just love him so much.’ I wondered and lost myself in his soothing laughter. “I love you.” He wrapped me in his warm arms and kissed my forehead.

It made me wonder if all their arguing was ever actually serious, or if it was all fun for them. I felt like it was the latter. "What movie did you watch?" I asked, wanting to know how the rest of the night went. There was so much more that I didn't know, and I needed James to paint the scene for me. James leaned back against the lockers again, his smile never wavering. "Victoria wanted to watch this romantic comedy she'd seen before, and she thought it was amazing. I, on the other hand, thought it was terrible. I don't do cheesy movies. I like action, drama, something that will make me want to jump out of my seat."
