a soft but firm voice called.
The door opened gently, and Roman stepped inside. Behind him were two bodyguards, each holding stacks of comic books. They quietly walked past Roman and Lucien, heading toward the shelf in the corner of the room. One by one, they arranged the colorful books neatly, their hands moving with quiet precision. The covers shone under the dim ceiling light—some glossy, some matte. There were superhero titles, fantasy series, even a few rare collector editions and a bl editions. At least thirty books now sat proudly on the shelf, lined up like loyal soldiers.
Lucien sat still on the bed, covered up to his chest with the duvet, watching silently.
