As I go through the small selection of books, I notice that most of them are similar: paranormal romance. I never understood why people enjoyed reading those types of books so much. They're always the same. An ordinary girl meets two sexy, paranormal boys that both fight over her, and there's always some lame conflict that pushes her closer together with both of them, and then she makes the obvious choice. The choice everyone knew she'd make since the first chapter. And they're always trilogies, I think to myself. Why can't they just have one or two really good books, instead of three or four adequate ones?

There's are a few themes which will be present in this part unlike the last, there are: 📌child molestation, 📌incest, 📌suicide 📌rape, 📌explicit content. 📌dark 📌violence I am writing this book because I felt people need to know. *This chapter might cause people to be triggered read with caution and no rude comment* Thank you . The dim lights, congested setting surely made me envisage the reason for students to not enter the room. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop my curiosity to explore this cramped obscure arcade. Consumed in looking for a book, I didn’t even notice that it was almost time for the library to close. I saw so many weird books. I soon realized they we mostly all related to philosophy and others were our old school magazines and student write ups. Every book fascinated me, just like they always do. But none of them were the ones I wanted to read in that moment. I just stepped out the small room when I stumbled on a book. I picked it up and read the name 'The Girl He Used to Know' by Tracey Garvis Graves. I

I open the box, and pull out the first book, and I frown even harder because it is titled - Your Dad Will Do, by a Katee Robert. Feeling realy confused, I pull out the second - Priest, by a Sierra Simone, these books are giving me a certain vibe. I pull out another, laughing at the incredulous title - Does It Hurt, by an H.D Carlton, feeling really curious, I open a random page, and frown as I try to make sense of the scene. I gasp as I begin to make sense of it, my mouth falls open at the full realization of what it actually is, the book falls out of my hand with a resounding thud.

First, let me tell you something. I am so happy and flattered that you're reading my book. I know I have many mistakes, spelling or other but I am trying my best to make this special. I received messages like "Your book is like Gray's Anatomy." No it's not -.- It just has a story with doctors and Seattle. Big deal. But yes, the GA is my favorite show so yes, I did get inspired by it. I assure you, it is NOT nor WILL BE like GA. I do not copy anything.

I want to say "Why", but I don't want to risk sounding like a creep so I whatever her and go back to going through the rest of the shelf even though I'd done that a thousand times before. I drag my hands across the spines of the books; Kara Taylor's Prep School Confidential, Carol Wyer's The Secret Admirer, and Megan Goldin's The Night Swim. You would be subtle to call Rachel a crime-thriller addict - she's more of a crime freak. The Night Swim. There is a piece of paper sticking out of it. I pull it out of the book. Something is scribbled across it in Rachel's handwriting.

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. I take a few glances through the books on the shelves and take a book that looks the most interesting out of all the books I saw. 'In the Woods' by Tana French.

But somehow, even the titles mocked me. “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.” “Call Me by Your Name.” “Normal People.” “Cruel,” I muttered at the shelf. “Talking to books now?” a voice said behind me. I spun around, heart skipping — not because it was Ethan (thank God), but because I was that on edge. It was just the cashier, a bored-looking guy with green hair and glasses. “Sorry,” I said. “Just… arguing with the universe.” He nodded like that made perfect sense. “Fair. It usually wins, though.”
