"Focus, now you're here for a reason." She made her way to the big bookshelf in the corner of the room where so many different kinds of books were carefully arranged. Some were about magic, werewolf genealogy, others about far-away places and also books written by her uncle. Ava sat on the dusty floor and started reading. She was so interested in the books that she didn't notice how quickly time had gone by. Hours passed and the sun started to set but Ava was still reading. "Who knew reading could be this exhausting," she thought to herself.

Phoebe smiled at the lady who assisted her and made her way out of the store. "Where should I go next?" Once again, she walked aimlessly before deciding to go to the bookstore. Ever since childhood, Phoebe has been fond— no, I mean obsessed with reading books. It's just too bad that it was kinda limited when she got married for some reason. The excitement filled her heart and whole system as the shelves of books entered her sight, while the smell of paper made it's way to her nostrils triggering her adrenaline rush. Instantly, she skimmed through the shelves and looked for some books that will catch her attention.

As much as he wanted to sit in the plush corner next to the library to dig in, he didn't have the luxury of time. “Look at this many books. Mommy is going to love this place. Everything looks so good, I want to read every book on the shelves.” David chuckled, completely distracted by his search. He needed to find it. It was the only way he could get things done. The only way he could finally claim what belonged to him. Eli was so excited, he was talking about one of the books he read; Atomic Habit. According to him, this book sharpened him more than he thought any book could.

This was going to be a long session. * * * “You're reading too hard,” I say, reaching over to drag the book closer. “Stop trying to memorize every word. Read like you're listening to someone talk to you.” “That sounds easy.” “It’s not. But it’s how people who read a lot remember things. Here—” I flip a page. “Skim the first two paragraphs, then tell me what it’s about in two lines.” She hesitates, then bends over the page. Her lips move silently as she scans. Her brows pinch together, then smooth. A few seconds later, she looks up.

Mila could not help but smile at how adorable she was. "Look, if you want my advice, don't do anything you don't like to impress anyone. If you want me to suggest you a couple of good books I don't mind, but you have to love reading so you can enjoy it," Mila spoke. The girl sighed and looked down for a few moments then looked back up at Mila. "You think so?" she asked quietly and Mila nodded with a smile on her face. "Okay, but my mum wants me to give reading a try so...can you recommend me some easy books? Something that won't bore me," the girl requested and Mila nodded.

He hated her and for sure didn’t want her help. Once again, she walked to the same study room and thought of waiting for him while scanning the books. From fictional romance to nonfiction world’s reality, there are hundreds of books to engage the readers. Her finger senses the spine of books like she could feel the words inside it, reading them softly, when Samson entered the room quietly.

I need to take time. I remember the small room I entered last time. I slowly opened the door and turned on the lampshade. The books on the table were still scattered. I tried to look and read each one of them. These are all interesting books. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and a lot more. I tried to find something that might help me, but I found nothing.

After the party last night, saying goodbye to Ella, I asked her out for lunch this time, it was my turn to ask her out, she said yes. We went to our home with a big wide smile plastered on my face, this was the best birthday ever, how did she even managed to find a little that likes reading and books. She even work in the book shop, see my love for stories did pay out, we found her, we still didn’t know how to ask her about being a little, or being our little to be exact. But we did agree on taking things slow with her, on letting her get used to us on her own terms and conditions.
