As she made her way to the living room, she called back, “Let’s get to work” Tara followed obediently. She hadn’t noticed the large cloth sack Maggie carried until the old woman reached inside and pulled out a thick, leather bound book. Tara stretched forward to take a closer look. The book showed years of wear. The binding was worn thin and the pages were yellowed. At the end of a long black ribbon that was glued within the binding of the book was an octagon shaped crystal that measured one and one-half inches in length and one inch in diameter.

I have chapter 50 part written but with all the festive music and baking going on, whatever I upload won’t be doing the book any justice Plus the next chapters are pivotal for the plot. I want to take this time to thank you for your patience with me. 2025 has been tough for everyone and I’m going to push myself in 2026 to be the author you all deserve. Each chapter you unlock means the world to me and I can’t say how much I appreciate you all. I will try and upload 28/29 December as that is my first day at home over the break. Then I will push forward with this book to finish for you.

"The Architect mentioned a timeline," Jax says. "They're planning something. Something big. And it's happening soon." My blood runs cold. "How soon?" "Three weeks. Maybe less. They said: 'Once the Winter Gathering concludes, we move.'" Jax looks up. "What's the Winter Gathering?" The bottom drops out of my stomach.

I was so over this crap, I just wanted Charlie back in my arms, it was horrible with her being so far away “You are supposed to be my brother, do you not want to help me?” “It’s not that I don’t want to help, I just think we might be falling into a trap” Kayla comes quickly into the office carrying a large book, she looks flustered as she slams the open book down on the table sending bits of dust everywhere and making me cough. Kayla apologises and asks if we have heard about the one to rule them all. I look at Alexander and he looks just as puzzled as me “What do you mean the one to rule them all?”

Hii everyone...!! Hope you all must be doing good!! So yeah I just wanted to inform you people is that , This book is going to be a long book. Really long. May be more than 80 chapters or something. So yeah, I will post next chapter on on Christmas...😄😄 It wil a Christmas gift from me to all of you..😊 My birthday is at 18 December. You peopel also don't forget to wish me🤭
