My best December was finally getting through 'The Priory of the Orange Tree'.

Last year, a challenge that worked for me was 'Finish the Year Strong'—you pick one series you started but never finished. It’s less about a specific winter vibe and more about closure before the new year. I knocked out the last two books in the 'Daevabad' trilogy, and it felt so good not to carry that over into January. The algorithm pushed it on me after I watched a few 'snowed-in thriller' videos.

Honestly, my December TBR is already overflowing, so I’m just adding these to my ‘maybe later’ list. The hype can be so fleeting; by January they’ll be onto something else entirely.
