Twenty-five minutes later I had found the perfect gifts for Olivia. As soon as I came across the older cookbooks I had to get them. They looked well used and the older lady told me they had been in her family for ages but she felt like someone else could use them now. They were all baking cookbooks and I knew Olivia would love them. That is if my mom didn't try and steal them first. Along with those three cookbooks, I saw a gorgeous scarf I just had to get. It was a beautiful, leather bound book with creamy, hand made paper pages. The leather was stamped with my name, and the symbol used to denote a healer. There was also a small box containing a beautiful calligraphy pen, with several small bottles of ink in vibrant colors. It was a magnificent gift, a healer's journal. It was something I was meant to fill with my observations and techniques. Something I would lend to other healers, and leave to my protege, perhaps, or donate to a pack library.

I took it from her with a small smile as I opened the kid's pop-up storybook. My smile faltered when I realized I never told him what kind of gifts to bring the twins, especially with the fact that my daughter loved to read.
