Alpha Faye

Alpha Faye

I would have slumped against the wall opposite his cell had T not been watching. “Where’s the book?” I question, while Cal shakes one of the cell bars. T feigns an innocent head tilt. “What book, Alpha? And can I say, that dress is really-” Cal growls softly, cutting T off. For once, T keeps his mouth shut instead of making some kind of jab at the non-existent relationship between us. “Open the cell,” I order. Cal obliges, knowing T is chained to the wall.

Her obsessed beast

Her obsessed beast

He took a random book out and opened a random page to see that what was the book about and to his surprise it was a law book. But it wasn't enough for him to reach the girls. He tossed the book back and then back beside the bookshelf trying to peek behind the it and suddenly something felt right to him. He saw a faint light was coming from behind the bookshelf as if it was coming from inside the wall. He immediately backed away and started to push the bookshelf away which weighted a lot but he didn't give up.

Twisting Fate

Twisting Fate

The wall behind the desk was the side of the building so it was entirely made up of windows. Walking up to it, I looked out over the area. There wasn’t much of a view, considering there were just more tall high-rise buildings around but you could see the streets below. I moved around the space, reading some of the boring titles of books on the shelves. They were your typical office books and nothing exciting or worth pulling to read. Turning back to Lec, he was leaning against the door, his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes shut. “Do you know how long he will be?”

The book absolutely knocked it out of the park - not one thing disappointed, and the little plot twists and turns were the icing on the cake. If you know the author - it’s another classic story. If you’re new - you will finish the book and come back for more. Guaranteed quality: plot, FMC/MMC, end.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I dropped my head to the book with a groan. “I don’t think the librarians would approve of your bookmark,” Rivyn commented mildly. He sat on the opposite side of the table, the heavy tome open before him and propped up on a stand. He leaned back on the chair, his ankle resting on his knee, seeming at complete ease on the uncomfortable wooden chairs.

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Defeated [Shy Book 2]

Defeated [Shy Book 2]

"I'll give you a hand. I have nothing else to do." "Well, pick up a book and start reading," Laura said and Mark passed her a heavy, leather-bound book with faded writing on the front. "If there is anything even remotely useful in it then it goes on the pile by the staircase, if it's not useful it goes on the pile by the window." There was only one obvious pile: the one by the window. It was stacked high with books that Laura and Mark had looked through and found to be unhelpful. Indianna made her way to a chair and sat down, opening the book. She looked around at the library and swallowed. There were thousands of books. Was it possible that one of them had something that could help them?

Summer Child

Summer Child

Slowly, she slid down to stand on her own two feet, wanting to direct them to a far better spot - maybe back to the sofa in the living room, even. But before she could, he had her pressed against the wall, next to the shelves, and she flung a hand out to steady her suddenly weakened knees. She found purchase against a bank of heavy old tomes, accidentally shoving a few in deeper. The unmistakable sound of something clicked and the entire case swung smoothly out toward them.

Mating Moon - Asara Pack

Mating Moon - Asara Pack

To ensure his line might continue. A wise choice it seemed. At least from what I was reading. I’d been reading bits of the book on nights I couldn’t rest and was nearing the end. I was leaned with my back against the wall. The book propped against my belly and one forearm as I balanced it. One foot perched along the calf of the other as I relaxed. Immersed in what I read. I reached to flip another page, entirely unprepared when something lurched from the shadows and two palms hit the wall on either side of my head nearly making me leap from my skin.

Blood Rust (Moon Sinner I)

Blood Rust (Moon Sinner I)

'Maybe it should. As soon as that thought passes my head, the books from Gideon's collection come to mind. Books I was allowed to read when I cleaned for him and his Luna on occasion. Tucked away in a corner of his bookshelf, in the study, a book with titanium colored covers that seemed out of place, just like this wall. Except, this wall isn't what it seems. For a moment, I just stare at the stone in disbelief. I try to think of something else, anything, but the more I look at it, the more it seems like a sealed door. It curves at the top, though it's obscured by the uneven parts of the mountain, there's an indication that the wall takes the shape of very big double doors.

Liam (Book 2)

Liam (Book 2)

I pee a lot, and smelling and seeing things that are sensitive to my body makes me puke. "Liam, just leave the poor girl alone." Sydney stepped in and pressed those breasts of hers on Liam's arm. "Come on. The book is a room. So we are going to have loads of fun." Loads of fun, indeed. "Just give me a minute," Liam brushed Sydney off, making her pout. "Lily, are you okay?" I scoffed.

Your Kiss On My List (BL #1)

Your Kiss On My List (BL #1)

Lea whispered. I looked around behind the last section of the fiction books. My eyes widened a bit when I saw a familiar posture, he was facing the window while reading an unknown book. And when he turned around to find another book, it was then I confirmed that it's Leon. . . on his specs! I shifted my gaze on Lea. "You can find the books you are looking for, I will get us seats." I quickly smiled and left her even though she was about to protest my idea.
