A Deal With The Billionaire

A Deal With The Billionaire

Marley took the book up and went through it but there was nothing in it. The book was blank. Her brows creased. Why was the book blank? She had gone through a lot of struggle to get to this book only to find it blank. She almost laughed at the absurdity. Marley closed the book and tried to put it back but she saw a button hidden in the corner. Her finger touched it lightly before pressing on it. A beep sounded somewhere in the room and then the wall at her side slid open revealing a steel wall. Marley went towards it and touched it.

Because you lead people to the right books. Lena put a hand on her heart. "I'm going to cry. Can I tack it on the wall?" "Yay! Beside last week's!" As Lena crossed over to tack the picture up on her "Wall of Tiny Wonders" in the corner of the room, the front door creaked open once again. The bell rang and a gust stirs the air. A man stepped in. His coat was wet at the shoulders. Broad build. Piercing eyes. Stranger to all the others.

That meant that there was a space behind it. So Warren searched the room again. On the bookshelf where he found the books, he slowly picked out the books, one by one to see if there was a mechanism to open the hidden door. But he still couldn't find anything. Warren then decided to use force and bust open the wall with a Reiteki-infused punch, but even that was unsuccessful.

I really liked this book. The author demonstrated good imagination.....right up to the end. That's where you lost me. I'm lost as to why you would allow his childhood sweetheart to live through the final destruction only to kill her when he finds out she is the only one he loved that is still alive.

I think it was quite a nice ending, dark and idk but it was dark and nice. I don't really see how this book can continue, I do hope it does but they shouldn't waste this ending, amazing, thanks to the Author for a good well written poor to rich novel

His Little Assassin

His Little Assassin

21: Piecing All Together (1.1) AT THAT SAME MOMENT, Lei was chilling on a monoblock chair with a book in his left hand. On the book's front cover, says "Life is meaningless" with a majestic bold and italic golden font. Despite the fact that there's dust and cobwebs hovered all around him, he was able to maintain an elegant and graceful demeanor. On his face, was a slight, relaxing smile.

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride

“I can hear a phone going off, it has to be hers. Someone help me move this damn bookcase.” One of the soldiers stepped up and stood on the other side, ready to push the bookcase to the side. However, it wouldn’t budge. Alexander’s expression twisted with confusion. What the hell? It didn’t make any sense why the bookcase couldn’t be moved—Christ, not even two people could move the damn thing! Alexander pressed himself as close to the wall beside the case as possible. He figured, perhaps it had been secured to the wall. But no. There were no metal attachment plates but rather hinges...

The Curse of the Seasons

The Curse of the Seasons

I sighed, leaning back against the wall. Cole smiled weakly and crossed his arms over his chest, his biceps bulging alluringly. "I have a plan that might work, but it will take a few days to set in motion. In the meantime, I have something for you to read." He passed me a leather bound book before he turned his back on me and lay down on the couch, leaving me to stare after him. I looked down at the book once again before I entered my room and sank down on my bed, opening the weathered book carefully, flipping to a random page.

Leo opened the doors but I couldn't believe what I seen inside From floor to ceiling along the walls there was thousands and thousands of books lined up on huge wooden book cases with shelves packed full of different size and thickness of books. Some of these massive book cases were vertical in the center of the room which also had beautiful colored books lining there shelves. Glass windows were at the very top of the roof line letting in a perfect amount of natural light. The smells that filled my nose were heaven all these paper pages filled the room with the faint smell of ink lingering.

SINFUL PLEASURES: Short Flithy Stories

Rows of shelves lined the walls, packed with thick leather-bound books, and right in the center was this old reading chair, high-backed and showing signs of wear from years of use. She turned and locked the door behind us, the click sounding louder than it should have in the quiet space. “Strip down,” she said, leaning back against one of the shelves with her arms crossed over her chest

"This might be something." Ethan hurried over as Sophia pulled the book. A faint click echoed through the room, followed by the creak of wood shifting. A section of the wall began to move, revealing a narrow passageway hidden behind the towering bookshelves. Lily’s eyes widened. "Whoa! This is like a movie!" Ethan glanced at Sophia, his expression a mixture of awe and apprehension. "This is it. Are you ready?" Sophia nodded, her resolve firm. "Always."

The Vampire Prince

Huge shelves filled with books from the top to the bottom lined the walls. Theodore walked around the room, touching the spines of the book. His tiredness was immediately forgotten. "Do you like the surprise?" Gad asked. "I love it, I don't want to ever leave this room." "But you have to leave the room sometime" Gad chuckled. "Can't we move our room here?" Theodore asked with shining eyes. "I don't think that is possible" Theodore pouted at his response. "I will leave you here then, I will go and move my things. I will come get you when it is time for dinner" Gad said.
