Wolf Kisses

Wolf Kisses

As gorgeous as it all was, Elaina found herself going farther, to the end of the room, to a section of books that looked terribly old and for some odd reason appeared the most interesting. There were leather chairs in this part of the room as well, single high-backed ones the color of rich caramel. Reaching out, she let her fingers brush lightly over the tattered spines of a couple books, stopping as if by no control of her own on one. The name TREKAS was printed in letters so worn she could barely see them all. Elaina pulled that one from the shelf without a moment’s hesitation. Before opening it, as if knowing already that this was going to take some time, she’d backed up until she sank in

Sociopath in Love

Sociopath in Love

As if she often noticed it on someone, but this someone was always absolutely not interesting to her. Huge bookshelves stretched over two floors. They were separated by a platform supported by metal supports, fenced with railings that barely reached the waist. It ran along the entire wall and ended with stairs located on both sides of the entrance. In the center on the ground floor there were square sliding tables surrounded by soft-looking chairs and a high bar counter, behind which Yuna was busy preparing coffee. “It’s a pretty cozy place,” Leah said, looking around. — I would stay to live here.

Addicted to The Treacherous

Addicted to The Treacherous

He placed the plate of food from his hand onto the table, right beside his laptop. "You're no different from Satya," I complained, combing the view from Ben's thin mattress up here. There was no longer a bookshelf, but large books were neatly arranged on the table attached to the wall. Not dusty either. Either because he likes to read or because he likes to clean. "Same in terms of things?" Ben moved the curtains that blocked the light from outside. The window design almost filled the wall like in the pantry. "The game is rough." I adjusted the position of Ben's T-shirt that covered my body. It's oversized, but it covers most of my thighs. The masculine scent of the soap I had used in the ba

Accidental Bibliophiles

He says, pushing me through the door and into the store. I lead him to the back room where Mrs. B put a bunch of comfortable couches and armchairs as well as lamps for gentle light. Bookshelves line every wall, stacked to capacity with beautiful leather bound books. There's even a bronze, gliding ladder that she doesn't use anymore, but she calls it her pride and joy.

Elise and the Dragon's Son (Magical Journey Series Book 2)

Elise and the Dragon's Son (Magical Journey Series Book 2)

One part of the wall to the left was made of glass, which showed the garden outside, some meters away from the outdoor swimming pool. Elise was also impressed by the large collection of books inside the library as though she stepped into Belmont library itself. There were shelves in an inverted L shape to their left while the right had the desk and sofas as well. There recessed and sconce, cool lighting fixtures. She thought it must be nice to read books in this library. It was quiet and cozy. She settled on the long sofa, while the others were still standing, looking and admiring the impressive room. “Mazoi, how are you?” Diana asked the Egyptian big guy, who was sucked into their place and

Ava: Bound by the Alpha’s Curse

Ava: Bound by the Alpha’s Curse

She turned and stepped back into the house. “Well,” she said over her shoulder. “Come inside before the Alpha starts growling.” Cassian did not deny the accusation. Inside, the house smelled strongly of herbs and smoke. Books filled nearly every wall. Old ones. Some bound in leather darker than Ava had ever seen. Others made of strange materials that looked more like bark than paper. Leana cleared a wide wooden table with a quick sweep of her hand. “Let’s see it.” Ava carefully placed the book in front of her.

he asked. “Yeah, looks great,” I said appreciatively. Personally, I kept things pretty minimal when it came to furniture and decorations, so when Joe told me that he wanted these two shelving units, one on either side of the mantle, I’d been a bit skeptical. “What the hell are you even going to put on them?” I scoffed. “It’s not like you read, man.” Joe guffawed. “Books are a huge chick magnet,” he said. “Bring them home to a house full of books and they’re sure to sleep with you.”

Her Four Possessive Wolves

Her Four Possessive Wolves

Bright and comfortable. I had entered the library, Ozias trailing behind me. Books lay atop almost every open surface. Stacks of them were lined within the walls. Several others just stood as end tables. Between it all stood Albert, with his balding white hair. Frustrated with the lack of book shelving places, he cursed beneath his breath. Organizing such a mess would prove close to impossible if not given more space.

Great story & characters, & absolutely loved the style of writing - broken/fragmented sentences that drive action & thoughts, so unique! Wish I wasn't left asking about some open-ended plotlines (Desert Sun, king's heirs, Felix, Albert & Mariposa, etc.), but assuming sequel books will address them?

As he was walking away, the lady then asked him, “If you don’t mind… do you want to sit at the same table then.” “Are you sure? There are-” “No, I- I insist… Since this corner of the café is the best spot to read, I always sit here, I don’t mind sharing it with you.: “Ah sure, that spot was something I had my eye on since earlier.” Kayne replied. “AH, REALLY, let’s share it then!” Both were really awkward at each other at first but when they found out that both were reading the same book, they eventually got a comfortable to talk at each other.
