Novel & Cerita Booktok Made Me Buy It

She was hoping that she could at least get a book for free since she didn’t have any crystals she could use to buy any books. When she walked into the bookstore, it was just a small room with a few shelves and among the books on the shelves she found a book she wanted. She picked up a catalogue first and read what was inside. She was allowed to pick two books for free and the rest she had to buy. Since a miracle was happening to her, she decided to take her time in order to pick two books that could help her in money making. She chose the herbs and flower introduction book; she believes that she could do well with it.

I felt a little embarrassed so I just smiled at them before walking around the entire shop to look around. I saw a lot of books that I had been wanting to buy for a long time now, but instead of buying them all, I just bought three pieces first because I needed to save up so I could buy a cellphone and because of the size of the entire bookstore, I spent quite a few hours inside looking around. After paying, I immediately went outside and suddenly felt hot, which is why I decided to take off the crop top hoodie I was wearing. I was about to tie it around my waist while walking back to the suite when suddenly someone bumped into me.

And to think that I started it with cold sweats and anxiety. My eyes caught the bookshelf that was above my bed. The Harry Potter series that Bridget had gifted me sat there. I sighed. Bridget and I were certainly no longer friends and that was the only testament I had to our friendship. I fired up my computer and opened an online bookstore. Well, now that I have money, I guess I could buy some books for myself. I had dozens already in the library, courtesy of Nathan, but hey, maybe I would find something else that would catch my eye.

ALEXA'S POV I turned to the employee and blushed as I was taking up the small path to the next shelves. "Sorry," I mumbled as I put the book back in its shelf and went to the clothes rack to buy a few items. I took a few tops and bottom, then made my way to the counter to see the same employee. "The book you held a while ago was from an old orphanage home, alot of people take that book with them but only to come back weeks later to tell me they don't want it," I chuckled along with the man and took my stuff to leave.

“What’s funny, debtor?” “I wonder why you told me to get the book when you clearly can’t even read a book page without wanting a nap,” she jabbed. “I can. But I already felt like sleeping after getting past the first sentence of this one,” he yawned again, stretching his arms above his head. “What made you request it then?” She shook her head, cleaning the glass sitting table—which looked like a single, massive slab of polished obsidian—with a dry towel. Torvin shrugged. “Kodak recommended it to every werewolf in our kingdom group. Kept blabbing about it, so I decided to know what the piece of garbage was all about.”

She asked with palms wide open. "I don't have anything to say to you. I don't think I'll ever do." I replied quickly. "What? You Will ever do? But why are you....." She got interrupted as Brian ran back into the sitting room.. "Here it is uncle." He showed me the book and I loved it instantly. It was such a nice and lovely book. He must have performed so well that's why he was given such an expensive book. It had so many things in it. So many things a kid would want.

I said, waving the delivery slip like it was incriminating. Tatiana plucked it from my hand and studied it. “That’s weird,” Constance mused. “Did they miscount?” “It says they were bought in-store,” Tatiana pointed out. “Portland, of all places.” “Wait.” Daphne ’s brows shot up. “He went all the way to Portland to buy you nine hundred and ninety-nine books?” I let my head fall back against the empty shelf. “Because a thousand books make a library.” Daphne slapped her forehead. “Oh my God. That’s why you’re one short.”

I shifted my body, to let the princess sit next to me. "Take a look at this, Mida! Again there is a group of students who again ngadain bazar around here. But we can buy online, loh. Take a look at the books they sell!" said my girl while showing her phone to Mida who was not initially interested, but changed her interest when she heard the word 'Book' and immediately pulled Keyza's phone for her to observe further. My girl seemed happy because she managed to attract the attention of her interlocutor.

I can’t let her buy that book! So, even in the fast beating of my heart I took that book from her. I felt her got shocked by my moves, but I made sure she wouldn’t recognize me. I am wearing a black hoodie jacket, so she won’t notice me. I sighed heavily when she didn’t make it a big deal. I saw her got a pen. I stared at the book I am holding and just decided to buy it. I will just give it to Rael since he likes these things so much.

“Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ” He shrugged, flipping another page. “I keep telling you not to judge me with your assumptions.” “I'm sorry if my assumptions don't fit your personality,” I said, taking the seat across from him. “Why this book?” I asked, stealing the opportunity to know what the real Kael is like. “I like books that… make me think. And this one does.” “Think about what?” I asked, hoping my curiosity wasn't obvious. “Is this some sort of interview?” he asked, placing the book on the table without closing it.
