51: The Series

51: The Series

Viktor replied loudly. “It does move things; we just can’t see it. I don’t know if it has hands or what it does, but it happened here in this office this morning!” Little Bob said, getting even louder. Just then, a book flew across the room toward them. They both looked stunned as it landed at their feet. Another one shot off the shelf and went toward the door before anyone could say or do anything. Lindsay ran out of her office and stopped in front of the counter. “I told you to stop this!” she yelled. “Stop now!”

Signed, Sealed, and Moving On

Signed, Sealed, and Moving On

One of the bodyguards even delivered a swift kick to Noah's legs, causing him to trip and splay out on the ground. Noah lay sprawled and struggled as he yelled, "Lexy! Lexy Jameson! Can't you please put in a good word for me on the account that we used to be married to each other in the past? Please, Lexy, I'm begging you! Tell Mr. Princeton to have mercy on me! I'm about to go bankrupt!" I looked at Asher in confusion. The Princetons had taken extremely good care of me for the past few months, and I'd basically stuck to Asher like glue the whole time. Everything was peaceful and harmonious at home, and I'd never felt more relaxed in my life.

Wrong Move: Scamming the Boss

Wrong Move: Scamming the Boss

" I didn't speak loudly, but it struck Melvin and Jessica like a thunderbolt, shocking them where they stood. Jessica's expression shifted from smug to doubtful. She looked at me, then at the "Ian" beside her. "Honey… is what she said… true? You… Who are you really?" Melvin panicked. He shoved Jessica away, pointed at me, and shouted with a threat that lacked real force, "Shut up! If you dare spout any more nonsense, I'll kill you right now!" At that moment, a sudden bang rang out. The storage room door was kicked open from the outside.

His Book club

His Book club

“Better than that club, at least.” “Exactly.” April disappeared into the back room, returning with a stack of books. She plopped them in front of me. “Here. Keep your hands busy, maybe your brain will stop overloading.” I rolled my eyes but pulled the stack closer. “My brain has stopped overloading, work master.” “Motivator,” she corrected with a grin.

Full Moon Next To You; Phantom Love

Sammy turned off the alarm and unlocked the door. Once in her familiar surroundings, she immediately felt better. Turning on the lights, she headed to the checkout, taking off her jacket as she went: - I'll turn on the computer, Mr. Becker, wait a bit? “Of course,” said the teacher, who came in after him. - I saw an interesting book here ... It seems that it was somewhere here. Becker delved into the assortment of books on the shelf, and Sammy waited for the system to boot, meanwhile going to the back room and finding the book he ordered - the orders were stored separately.

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn. Once inside the warmth of the large shop, Greta was surprised to see a bright modern shop, which included not only a metaphysical section, but my children’s section, too. With soft upbeat music playing in the background, it didn’t take long to find the shopkeeper chatting away to a rather wild looking dog by a fireplace.

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.
