Lindsay ran out of her office and stopped in front of the counter. “I told you to stop this!” she yelled. “Stop now!”

One of the bodyguards even delivered a swift kick to Noah's legs, causing him to trip and splay out on the ground. Noah lay sprawled and struggled as he yelled, "Lexy! Lexy Jameson! Can't you please put in a good word for me on the account that we used to be married to each other in the past? Please, Lexy, I'm begging you! Tell Mr. Princeton to have mercy on me! I'm about to go bankrupt!" I looked at Asher in confusion. The Princetons had taken extremely good care of me for the past few months, and I'd basically stuck to Asher like glue the whole time. Everything was peaceful and harmonious at home, and I'd never felt more relaxed in my life.

" I didn't speak loudly, but it struck Melvin and Jessica like a thunderbolt, shocking them where they stood. Jessica's expression shifted from smug to doubtful. She looked at me, then at the "Ian" beside her. "Honey… is what she said… true? You… Who are you really?" Melvin panicked. Becker delved into the assortment of books on the shelf, and Sammy waited for the system to boot, meanwhile going to the back room and finding the book he ordered - the orders were stored separately.

Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn.
