In Defense of a Murderer

In Defense of a Murderer

All I could think of was the memory of the white cloth being pulled over Marie's lifeless body. I never thought Gigi would be the culprit who killed Marie. I couldn't stop myself from lunging at Gigi and choking her. "Annette! Have you lost your mind?" Zachary roared. He grabbed my arm and threw me aside, making me fall onto the ground.

The book is great. But the length & the saga are ridiculous not to mention you only provide 2 chapter updates through the week. We the readers love this book but 1900 pages and we’ve had 1 happy ending. We’re ready for this to be over stop dragging it out for the money! 1st & last book I buy/read.

The Alpha Kings Mistake

The Alpha Kings Mistake

I say crossing my arms over my chest as I looked at the podiums, this must mean the person that killed Axel’s father and took the book didn’t bring it back, what a surprise. “I was thinking the same thing when I found this place, but if you look at the authors of the books, both are written by Alfred Bulkham, which means….” He says trailing off so I could come to the conclusion myself, when I did my eyes go wide as I turn to look at him again.

FALLEN: HIS ALONE

FALLEN: HIS ALONE

no, I arranged his bed again that I had scattered, cause no matter how mad I was for burning my project up, I still didn't wanted any fucking trouble when he was back, so that he wouldn't kill me out of anger for messing with his stuff, but as soon as am about to quietly return back to my own lane to wait innocently, and yell at that dickhead when he was back about why on earth he burnt my project up, my curious eyes, yes, the same eyes that would make him kill me, drifted to the side, and I see a black book placed perfectly on the side of his bed "I didn't even know he had something like this, but it must have fell from under his pillow" I told myself as I picked it up to return it back to

High School Revenge

High School Revenge

I opened the book and on the first page was engraved these words. ✓KILL LIST✓ I opened the next page and I saw the first person. It was a name, a page. And Drake made it in such a way that the next page can't be opened until the given name was dead or out of the picture. I looked at the student picture and Bio. It was a girl by name Louise Peterson. I had barely read the first page when I felt a shadow cast upon me. I quickly shut the book as I glanced up to see the intruder.

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

But she didn’t know what. As she turned it all over in her head, it only raised more and more questions. And that surprised her. She was a world-renowned scholar, and could dissect and analyze any book within a matter of minutes. But now, with her own book, in her own attic—in her own handwriting of all things—she was completely stumped. That freaked her out more than anything. After all, she didn’t remember writing any of it. And yet, as she read it, pieces of it seemed to come back to her, in some vague part of her consciousness.

Dangerous Attraction 2 : Love and Suspense

Dangerous Attraction 2 : Love and Suspense

“The women were his victims. I’m different, because I’m something else. I’m his opponent, like in a chess game. That’s why he did things differently with me. Whatever he needed those women for, with me, he just wanted to prove that he’d beaten me, both intellectually and physically. And he buried me alive so I’d have a little extra time to think about that defeat.” “A stupid move. You survived.” He thought about that for a few seconds. “Yes. He was too cocky. He thinks he has hometown advantage here. He got overconfident.” He shrugged. “Not unreasonably. If Ashley Price hadn’t dug me up, I would be dead. He didn’t count on that.” Bing swore. “How did you know he was here, in Broslin?” He exp

The Alpha and Her Hunter

The Alpha and Her Hunter

She figured grabbing a book might help her sleep or at least distract herself. It was then that she noticed a familiar leather book poking out from the center drawer. Silently, she slid the drawer open. It was the book her grandmother had given her weeks ago. A page was tabbed. Curious, she flipped to the page and her eyes widened in horror at the entry. Ava Brochade m. Smith, 1963-still living. Residence previously unknown. Whiteridge, house in Estates neighborhood. Over 100 known kills. (most of which were known to be unauthorized.)

Ami?
This book is crazyyyyy!!! Like crazily gooodd!! Thriller/mystery along with romance, everything is perfectly balanced. Wt I really like about this book is the second male lead is not obsessively obsessed with her like typical novels. I also love the fact that she is a strong independent woman?
Raven the lurker
