Booktok Problems Novels & Stories

I felt heat start to pool low and a blush start to crawl up my neck. "About his ability to make himself everyone's problem." "Well, that tracks. At least from the little bit I've known him." She leaned closer to Rowan's section and started reading the titles off like she was browsing a bookstore. The books were a chaotic mix, some genuinely useful, others questionably so, but all jammed together in no particular order. She pointed to the first spine, reading it outloud, her voice dripping with judgement. "How to Win and Argument Without Throwing a Punch."

You can continue reading Book1 as chapters will be updated here, or you can continue reading book 2 as the same chapters will be updated there also, until the book can officially be combined. Book 2 was previously created to avoid piracy issues and now the story will continue on both books 1 and 2. The same content will be added to both books. This means if you are reading this note, you can continue the story here without needing to look for a second book and if you are reading on book 2, you can continue it there. I hope that makes sense and that you will enjoy reading the rest of the story Taylor

I feel safe being alone here because I know there are two guards outside the library. If only I could do something to help Damon. If only I had the ability to recognize who betrayed Damon. I put down the book I was reading on the table and looked at the high shelves in the library and suddenly the book I saw before came to my mind. That book was written by Alpha Devon and there is a faint suspicion that there is a torn page in that book. I know it's not unusual for a book to be torn because it's natural for a book, to tear and get old...but that book was strange. The book is old, but you will know that every paper used is durable. It can't just be torn because of its old age.

I pulled down four books I hadn't cracked in months, spread them across the reading table, and went through them the way you go through things when you already know they won't help, fast with one eye on the pages and one eye on the creeping certainty that the answer just wasn't in this house. Dark magic. Old curses. The First Bond. I'd read about all of it. I'd read the same dozen references so many times I could recite the holes in them from memory, which was the whole problem. The holes were the point. What we didn't know was exactly what was going to bury us. I shoved the last one back onto the shelf harder than I meant to. The whole damn thing rattled. "This shi isn't helpful," I told it

“What book?” “Yes, it was a book. To be honest, I don’t know why Father banned many of those kinds of books. It was mostly about mating, about rituals, about something Lycans and something wolves.” “Really? I’d like to see the book.” “Trust me, if you ask Father, he’s going to flip. I would suggest you instead sneak around and try to find that book yourself. But until then, you have to act like a Lycan. Stop running away from your problems. Last night you ran. Tonight… are you going to run again, or will you face your problems?”

Serenity was annoyed. She closed the book, and immediately placed the book right on the sofa, next to where she was sitting now. "How can I find another book that has the same information as this book? If a few pages of this book were torn out, what if other books were torn out as well? Gosh... this is really troublesome. What kind of secrets are hidden within the torn pages of the book exactly?"

These two are annoying creatures, always quarrelling with each other. [ A/n: If you guys find chapters confusing, kindly remove the book from library and re-add it. The edited chapters are not visible unless u re-add it]

And then she’d done it- she’d flat out refused. Olivia’s contact had been frustrated, having already started the work, and the bridge was burned. Lydia was embarrassed by her inability to provide the money, let down by her sisters lack of support in her own goals, and furious at Olivia’s entitlement; Olivia was hurt at Lydia’s lack of support and belief in her idea and embarrassed that she’d promised funds she couldn’t secure. They’d hurled angry words at each other for hours until, finally, Lydia packed her things and left their shared apartment to move in with her oldest friend.

“Let me see,” Healer Farah says, and I pass the old book to her. I watch as all three of them hover over the page and as they smile. Though, it doesn’t last long. One by one, their smiles drop. “What is it? Am I wrong?” I was sure this was it. If they say I’m wrong, I don’t know what I’ll do. We’ll have to continue this seemingly endless search. “You’re not wrong, Fiona,” Healer Sarina says, but she doesn’t smile again. “There’s a problem with the toxin, or really with the antidote.”
