My mom wanted me to feel confident and I definitely do. The top was black with silver accents, it was cinched in at the waist, there was a cape attached to it that flared out below my butt, and it was paired with a pair of simple black slacks and a pair of silver heels. For a moment, I think my mind is playing tricks on me as I stare at the two gorgeous men outside my door. When the one greets me, I know it isn’t a trick. Man Bun and Faux Hawk from the diner stand before me with identical smirks. That is the only identical aspect of the two, though. They are both in a clean-cut suit. Man Bun’s is a dark gray with a maroon shirt, and Faux Hawk is in a black suit with a deep pink shirt underneath. Now that they are standing side by side, Man Bun has at least four to five inches on Faux Hawk.

With muffled steps inside the isolated shrubbery beyond the public shelter, Creed stormed through the familiar woods as fast as he could. A slight urgency was buried under his neutral expressions. I was surprised they decided to work with each other today. I rolled my eyes at them and turned my gaze as the football team stepped into the arena, my heart skipped a bit when I saw Henry first.
