The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

“Every time Eos was reborn… every time she awakened her Twiceborn… the world changed. It meant something was coming.” “Coming?” I repeat. “Something she was reborn to stop,” he says. “Something the Dawn mother always stands against.” My stomach drops. Parker’s jaw tightens. “What kind of something?” Ronnie swallows. “It says… in every cycle, the darkness grows first.” A chill brushes down my spine, and the room seems to dim. Through the window, I see some of the Twiceborn lift their heads in perfect unison, sensing the shift, and deep in my chest, something old and bright and terrifying unfurls like a sunrise preparing to fight the night.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

The chosen luna

The chosen luna

Lady Havana knew no one was allowed to enter the library and that Dark’s routine would keep him there. So, she chose that time to plan my execution—ensuring Dark wouldn’t disrupt anything. Dara entered. Dark caught a different scent in the library and took Dara unaware, his hands on her neck. She struggled to breathe, raising the letter. He let her go and took it, reading it. Dara added to it by telling him what was going on. Dark immediately left for his mother’s place. He transformed into his wolf, howling from behind. The men all gave way quickly and just as the man in front of me was about to throw his punch, Dark snapped his neck and, in that moment, leaped and cut the rope with his cla

The Light's Shadow

The Light's Shadow

I'm hoping to give it a more gothic theme rather than romantic. "I decided on making it a romantic fantasy," Nice, Christine. "It follows a teacher with a hidden desire lurking inside of her. She tries resisting, but her new home holds a monster that brings that desire out. And she realizes that her life may be a lie." "What's called, Christine?" I smiled at her question. "It's called The Shadow that Lurks Within," Jessica didn't say anything else, and we continued to look around in silence. John was holding five different onesies, all with different animals on them.

Blood and Moon: Book Two - Onyx

Blood and Moon: Book Two - Onyx

“And how is Magnus?” “He is as well as can be expected. Looking forward to seeing you. We will have dinner with him this evening.” I nodded as he led me inside to the great room. The interior did not disappoint. Everything was an open layout. The decor and lighting were moody with black and gold accents. Black was my best color, so naturally I was a fan. I looked around the kitchen that led into what seemed to be a common area. Walking down the halls, I noticed a library with a huge selection of books, and I imagined myself enjoying some quiet time there. As we continued to walk down the long halls, I noticed aside from the vampires that had accompanied us on our trip, I had yet to see anyon

Shadow Bound

Shadow Bound

Gray asks him, as we all take in the wreckage that was our camp. Strips of cloth and bent and broken metal, that just a few hours ago were tents, lay in tatters, skewered all over the ground. Tons of blood stains the dark brown forest floor. Torn pieces of bloodied flesh scattered across our campsite. I can’t help the sigh that escapes my lips. Luckily, nobody is paying any attention to me. “They’ll be okay,” Bo answers, his blue eyes dark with the reality of our current situation. “I’m just glad we haven’t been giving the new ones any wolfsbane. Who knows? Maybe they’ll learn to control it on their own.”

After Dark

After Dark

The heavy main door of Caden's mansion clicked shut behind me. The sound didn't offer freedom; it sealed me into a new kind of prison. The bright afternoon sun felt too harsh, mocking the darkness that had just settled deep inside me. I was outside, yes, but no longer my own. The air felt thick, heavy with the weight of the deal. My limbs felt weak, like every bone had turned to water. I had agreed. I had sold myself, not just for money now, but for Caden’s sinister game.

Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

Back at the compound, Sienna sat on the worn leather couch, her knees drawn to her chest. Enzo was meeting with his men, overhauling the security system around his home and safehouses. The house was eerily quiet, the only sound coming from the faint crackle of the fireplace, when Enzo came back, he went straight to bar and poured himself a drink. He went to the window and stood staring into the darkness outside. His silhouette was tense, a predator still on edge.

AFFAIRS IN A GLASS HOUSE

AFFAIRS IN A GLASS HOUSE

"I'll be back at noon for lunch. Prepare us something this time," he said. I sighed as the door shut behind him. I sank on my bed, staring at the ceiling. The texts were becoming something else, Levi was acting weird, and the house was feeling weirder. But, hey, at least I'm getting $1,000 a month. Another text came in, not from the anonymous texter, not from Levi or Nightshade but a totally different number. “Atticus is alive.”

Your Borrowed Life Expires After New Year

Your Borrowed Life Expires After New Year

When they saw the empty apartment, both of them froze. "Did you get robbed?" Jamie gasped, covering her mouth in shock. Elias looked around, his face turning ashen. He realized everything that belonged to me had vanished, while everything that belonged to him and Claire remained exactly where it was. He bolted into the bedroom and found the note I'd left on his nightstand. "I sold the house. We're even now."

Secretly Loving My Adoptive Brother

Secretly Loving My Adoptive Brother

I just wanted to borrow one book, and first thing tomorrow morning, I’d return it to where it belonged. I turned the doorknob and pushed it open slowly, stepping into his spacious, pitch-black room. Without needing to turn on the main light, I already knew exactly where his bookshelf was. So, I chose to leave the room in darkness, letting only a faint glow from the hallway seep in through the crack in the door. I walked toward the shelf, assuming the horror book was in its usual spot. But it was empty. Since I couldn’t see in the dark, I finally decided to turn around and head toward the light switch.
