The Reaper's Pet

The Reaper's Pet

This release is forceful enough to launch me hundreds of feet up into the air. In a wide parabola, I float back to earth amid the desperate flapping of my arms, proving I’m still bound by the rules of gravity. I take in the view of a citywide mine burrowing straight down to the molten bowels of the earth. There are rock walls so vast and grotesque they could be the work of giants, and yet for all their superhuman propotions every crag and crevice is filled with the bestial howls of the damned. I shut my eyes to the sight.

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

He clearly had little faith in them, thinking that continuing up would be like striking a stone with an egg, leading the pair to their destruction. At this moment, Tyron and Adrian looked extremely distressed. The gravity they faced was not the 10,000kg force but had nearly reached 12,000kg. If they continued to the 160th step, it would be 14,000kg of force. Even Adrian, with his powerful physique, would likely be forced to his knees. Boom! The gravity made the cloud steps tremble. The people below felt the vibrations and were horrified, unable to describe the situation. The gravity was terrifying, frightening to the extreme. In moments, it could cause one’s soul to scatter.

Pregnant For The Wrong twin

Pregnant For The Wrong twin

Evryn's world shattered as the ground gave way beneath her, the very foundation of the rift crumbling like sand under a tidal wave. Her body plunged into darkness, the air thick with the scent of sulfur and despair. She couldn’t scream, couldn’t gasp—everything was silent except for the deafening rush of wind as her descent continued, endless and cold. Time seemed to stretch on, her limbs disjointed, her mind unable to grasp anything but the terrifying uncertainty of the fall. Was she falling into the depths of the rift? Or had it opened some kind of portal to another place—another world?

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

They were hovering in mid-air, perfectly suspended around the silver meteor like a miniature asteroid belt. The Light: It cast no shadows on the ground beneath it. The light only pushed upward. "It rejects the earth," Cord breathed, his golden eyes widening as he watched a loose piece of gravel drift slowly from his boot toward the sky. "It doesn't reject the earth," I said, stepping closer to the edge. "It's homesick." I pulled a heavy iron piton from my belt and tossed it over the precipice. The iron fell normally for about fifty feet. Then, as it crossed the invisible threshold of the crater's localized gravity field, it abruptly decelerated. It hovered for a microsecond, and then violent

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

Finish it before I return, or else you get another set. Will I get bald after this? I could only deliberately heave a sigh and step into the training chamber. "Hmm…?" It's been a while since I came here— almost a week. Inside this chamber, the gravity was tweaked up to 150G, in other words, 15 times stronger than our normal gravity. I need to do all those sets under 150G of gravity? "That bastard, he's looking down on me…" ………………………………… "HAH— HAH— HAH— HAH—"

The Elf Who Stole My Heart

The Elf Who Stole My Heart

He'd need time to recover, so he wouldn't be able to climb up on his own right now. I steeled myself and put on the safety harness, then lifted my head and told the other half-elves, "I'm going down. You guys hold the rope steady, and whatever happens, don't let go." I'd never gone into a pit this deep, but I now had no other choice. I took a deep breath before slowly lowering myself into the pit inch by inch. There were almost no footholds along the pit's walls. I tried to put my foot down on it, but slipped and ended up with a gash on my knee.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

“Damn it’s expensive!” Zephyr cursed as 500 points were immediately decreased. Though, his expression changed quickly once he entered. The apprentices outside could not help but discuss amongst themselves as Zephyr’s door lit up. “I wonder how long that kid’s gonna last in there.” “Hahaha, the gravity in there’s way stronger than out here. It’s a struggle even for us, much less him! I’ve heard some being utterly crushed just by the sheer power of the gravity!”

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

She Tempted The Devil

She Tempted The Devil

The bottomless pit yawned open like a chasm of nothingness, its edges shrouded in an impenetrable veil of shadow. The air around it seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy, as if the very fabric of reality was warped and distorted by the pit's presence. The darkness within was so profound that it seemed to have a life of its own, a sentient entity that pulsed with an evil power. It was as if the pit was a portal to a realm where light had never existed, a realm where hope was extinguished and only despair reigns supreme. As Asmo gazed into the abyss, he felt his spirit tremble with fear. The pit seemed to be beckoning him, its silence screaming with an unspeakable horror that threatene

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

The thirty years that he had not aged were catching up to him fast. June cried "Dad!" She tried to open the glass door. Benson looked at her one time. He did not use the mind-link. He moved his lips to say one word. He said "Run." The floor of the basement suddenly dropped down. The Investors were not going to let the harvester go. They made a gravity well. The whole hospital was being pulled into the earth. It was falling into a hole where the center of the earth was melting. June grabbed her mothers hand. They jumped for the service tunnel just as the basement fell apart.
