The story starts with Lavender, who lost her father in an accident and half of her memory. Losing her father left a huge gap in her heart, but at a point, she moved on for the sake of her ill mother.She worked in her father's cafe to cover her mother's medical bills and give her little sister a good life.At the beginning of the senior year, she meets Alex River, the popular guy from her school.
