Rejected by my Alpha, Loved by my Beta

Rejected by my Alpha, Loved by my Beta

I was already plotting different ways to end her gruesomely. “I'm sorry, My lady,” she said as she tore the seal and reached into the envelope to retrieve the results. “We did find something in the brain scan. There is, in fact, a chip in his cerebral cortex. If it isn't taken out in time, it could affect him.”

In love with my step father in law

In love with my step father in law

A whisper: "Don't forget me." Isla gasped, almost toppling over. Christopher rushed to her side, holding her upright before she hit the floor. "What was that?" he insisted. She blinked wildly. Her hands trembled. "A memory. Not mine." Ethan turned around. "The emotional map is compelling. Your brain's syncing up with the imprint inside you." Christopher's gaze met hers, his teeth gritted. "That's unsafe. This can ruin your brain." "I know." "We can suppress it," Ethan said. "There's a method to cut out the neural bridge. Keep you stable.".

Mated To The Sabatini Brothers.

Mated To The Sabatini Brothers.

Valerio asked. He paused, acknowledging Valerio’s confusion and concern. "You see, the brain, even in a coma, might retain fragments of consciousness. This particular persons might be occupying a big part of the patient’s brain, making it a predominant trigger. Rose’s name seems to trigger a response in his brain, activating areas associated with emotional memory. It's as though the sound of her name creates a bridge, even in his unconscious state, offering a semblance of connection. That’s why speaking it out was possible."

Winter's Awakening

Winter's Awakening

Braxton and Winter might have lost their lives there, and the image kept replaying in my mind—both of them submerged, gasping for air, while I desperately tried to reach them. The icy wind gusted around me, sending a sharp chill through my bones as I remembered the moment I received the mindlink. The water had been a dark, turbulent nightmare as I hurried to the scene, adrenaline rushing through my veins. Doctor Rivers' words echoed in my mind, muffled by the panic still clinging to my thoughts. "Braxton might have a slight brain injury." The words hit me hard, a brutal reality check. I could feel the weight of my choices crushing down on me, as relentless as the snowflakes drifting lazily f

The Billionaire’s 30-Day Debt.

The Billionaire’s 30-Day Debt.

"I want Mia to grow up hearing her own thoughts, not the heartbeat of a man on an island three thousand miles away." They stepped across. The sensation was not a sound; it was a sudden, violent "Neural Drop." For over a year, their brains had been bathed in the 60-hertz Sombra-Hymn, a constant, low-level stream of dopamine and serotonin that smoothed out the jagged edges of human anxiety. Crossing the line into the Void was like having a warm blanket ripped away in a freezing room.

Raven's Waking Dream

Raven's Waking Dream

I question resting against Osric under the hot water. “It can cause brain damage; it usually appears like a stroke. Forced memories do more damage and can even kill, it’s dangerous,” Embry explains while grabbing shampoo squirting some in his palm and begins massaging my scalp lathering up my hair.

SOLD TO THE ARROGANT BILLIONAIRE

SOLD TO THE ARROGANT BILLIONAIRE

she said, as my anger burned through my veins, and I raced to the nurse, grabbing her by her collar as her feet left the ground. "What did you do to her?" I spat out as the nurse struggled in my grasp, her feet kicking the cold air. "I'm sorry, she was brain-flashed," the nurse said, still struggling in my grasp. "Explain," I growled between my teeth. "The moment you left, she started breathing but was unconscious. Her brain was trying to recollect every piece of information before she wakes up, but you were about to commit suicide, so I... I... brain-flashed her without thinking. She escaped all the side effects; it's just that she didn't have enough time to collect all her memories, so she

My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret

My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret

Daddy snapped, pacing behind my chair, "She still has the fog. She still loses her focus. I’m paying you a fortune to fix her brain, and she’s still falling behind. I want her sharp. I want her perfect." The doctor adjusted his glasses, his eyes staying on the tray. "You have to understand, Giovanni. The human brain has a natural defense mechanism. When the fog hits, it’s a shutdown. We aren't trying to heal her, we are trying to bypass the hardware." He picked up the small box with the wires, the machine letting out a high-pitched whine.

I absolutely adored this book and loved it so much. Raphael and Gianna's story was so good with the twists, the turns, the suspense, the sweet moments, the hard moments, basically all the moments. If you love mafia stories then I highly recommend this book and Jane's other books. You wont regret it.

Gal you nail it and was worth reading it, the characters, the plots, the thrill and the chaos I mean everything was beautiful even those some where we made you question or how you should write it but still went ahead to bring out this beautiful story to the end, I see this story more that friction..

Love with a twist

Love with a twist

"Ava, you are not broken. You are brave. How many people go through what you went through and choose to smile again? You are special. You fought for yourself, and your friends until the last minute. You have always put your family first, I don't know a better-functioning 23-year-old" "As I have told you, It's just different parts of your brain reacting", Catherine took out a piece and drew a rough 4 parts of the brain explaining how it performs. "It's your Brainstem which is responsible for basic reactions like temperature, heartbeat, etc, not realizing it's after two years now. It just remembers the feeling of a person attacking from behind and reacting just like what was stored in it. It d

THE PRESIDENT'S FAVORITE JOURNALIST

he responded and I became scared “What do you mean by gaps in my memories? Is it that serious?” I was forced to ask, my heart beat increasing rapidly “No, don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with your current self. Your brain had suppressed some of your memories because it was either painful or too much for you to bear. It is a way called coping mechanism, your brain knows that your body cannot contain the pain so it intentionally locks some painful pasts or incidences so we would be able to move on” the doctor explained
