A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

He stamped his hand against the pillar and it shook, letting lose plaster and dust particles from the ceiling. "Is that right?" Tanky spoke, getting up from the bench and facing Bravo. Tanky was a warrior from the neighboring town of Bram. "And who are we going to war with, brother, these human-things none of us can even see? In case you did not know, Keratin barely escaped with his life, the same goes for you as well, chief. . ." He jerked his head to Janga who had been silent the whole time as they ranted. "The same goes for you, brother." He said, acknowledging Galieel who sat staring balefully at him. "And let's not also forget you were there as well, Verag."

Villains had no rules, they had no limits. It was far too easy to convince Jake to go outside with me, to watch the brave warriors of our pack fight for our freedom and lives. Closer and closer, we inched; until all that shielded us was the thick bushes around our neighbor’s house. One of the warriors in our pack had fallen, blood spurting from his neck in a sea of beautiful crimson. The life in his eyes went from blazing to a dull flicker. ‘Be a hero’, I told Jake. ‘Our parents will be so proud’, I said.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

Wanderers Of the Night

Wanderers Of the Night

Confusion flickered in her eyes. - What's going on here? Brivik repeated angrily. The warrior with two swords only now turned his head in his direction, taking his eyes off the corpses. Piercing gray eyes looked at the head of the guard, in which silver reflections seemed to gleam. Brivik involuntarily became alert, unmistakably sensing in this young fellow the strength to which the entire caravan was now subordinated. - Well?! - Brivik drove up to the very border of the dome and stopped in front of the guy. Where are the corpses from?

Beauty, Jealousy, and Brotherhood

Beauty, Jealousy, and Brotherhood

I was a sucker for pretty faces. The only reason I agreed to date Isabelle was because she was passable-looking as partner material. It had only been a few days since junior year started when my roommate came over to me and awkwardly said, "Damian, I just spotted your girlfriend getting pretty close to that well-known broke pretty boy by the campus lake." I immediately rolled up my sleeves and rushed toward the lake. From a distance, I saw Isabelle standing very close to a slim young man. But the moment I got a good look at his face, I froze. "Damn! This guy was insanely handsome!" He was so good-looking that even I, as another guy, was jealous. Isabelle frowned and stepped in front of me.

The Breeder: Cruelty Of My Children

The Breeder: Cruelty Of My Children

At first, they didn’t show any signs of hostility. “I thought alpha told you never to come back here, old man.” The alpha king stopped. I looked at the warriors and they looked beastly. Arms like branches and legs like tree trunks. They were more than ripped and something they ate in that mountain made all of them look so…big. I would have understood if a few of them looked like that but all of those in front of us looked like that. if they all looked like that and were well trained. Then our warriors stood no chance against them.

Alpha Bratva

Alpha Bratva

Their Alpha had run, his Beta was dead and he had been hunted down by the woman he’d tried to own, and now he knelt bleeding in Volkov territory with nowhere left to go. “Bring them closer,” I said. “He deserves to have witnesses see what happens when they betray their Alpha and when they choose to side against the right thing.” One of my warriors blinked. “Alpha?” “Everyone,” I repeated, louder. My voice carried through the trees. “If they followed him here, they’re going to watch how this ends.” Asher let out a weak laugh. “You need an audience?” he rasped. I stepped into his line of sight. “No,” I said. “You do. I think that this is going to be a good show.”

The Tale of A Villainess

The Tale of A Villainess

Every line I sing, he grows wearier; like blinds, his eyes soon close up. He really embodies the mind of a child, apart from the cruelty of the government tasks. I heard before that the imperial brocade-clad guards have to pass a torturous and ruthless test prior to becoming one. They have to kill all the partners they were set up with, all of whom they have endured hardships and feel an intimate bond with. In the end, their eliteness is defined by their resilience to turbulence and tempestuousness. I gaze into his soul and feel a compelling passion to reside by his side.

This was very well written. No unnecessary and prolonged details. I think my only wish would be an epilogue that contained some more details wrapping up a few things about what happens in the future. I loved this book. I really did.
