Breakfast On Pluto Novel Novels & Stories

The sight of him, calm and collected, made my chest tighten. Two maids bustled out of the kitchen, setting the table. A platter of freshly baked croissants, a bowl of ripe fruit, and plates of fluffy scrambled eggs and crisp bacon were laid out. Another maid followed with a pitcher of freshly squeezed orange juice and steaming cups of coffee. It was the kind of breakfast most people would dream of, but my appetite was nowhere to be found. Justin looked up as I sat down, setting his tablet aside. “Good morning,” He greeted me with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

Tomorrow felt like it would be a long long day. The morning came rapidly, the sun Io against the sky, leaving a glow on the house. Lights shone brightly every single place as workers rushed around the house in preparation for the large feast they named 'Breakfast'. Making breakfast when Xandros was around was something the workers loved passionately, because even though there was a lot of energy and work put into the making, Xandros ate very little, just enough for a wolf and the workers had the rest to themselves with their own normal breakfast. But all that stopped whenever Xandros was out of Khaos.

Marcellus’a POV -During the Macabantran battle- I think it’s morning. Well, this is only my guess, given that they finally took my restraints off and brought me some vicious-looking mucky substance in a bowl to eat, so I guess it’s breakfast time. Every day, they bring a spoonful of food to me- once a day only, for breakfast. I am eating the mucus-looking food and am thinking of those amazing cinnamon buns I had in Nerzelis. That would be so nice now, goddammit.

Vani stuck her hands out, giving me the bags which were containing food. I quietly took them from her hand and Athena helped in setting the lap table. She took all the breakfast from the bag and kept it on the table. The breakfast consisted of toast, fries, chicken and coke. “Is this a patient's breakfast?” I asked Athena in confusion. Usually, don’t patients have porridge and milk for breakfast? Why am I the only person getting all the exceptions in the world? “C’mon Girl. You just fainted from exhaustion. You are not having some grave disease so quietly eat what we brought for you.” Athena hit my shoulders making me pout.

Alpha Magnus molded me to learn how to manage it, I’ve read a lot of books based on the true-to-life experiences of humans. And I will take that as an edge over Calypso. I didn’t know that I fell to sleep until the sun strikes my face. I wasn’t even able to change my clothes last night. I heard two knocks on the door, and I was still lazy to open it, but I have no option. “Good Morning Miss, Cassiopeia, your breakfast is ready.” The woman entered the room, her smile brighten up the mood and the smell of the food made my mouth water.

Porridge and scrambled eggs seem to be a good start for a breakfast from being a Slave to Omega. Sasha just glanced to the sky on her way to the dining hall. Just a glimpse, and she can now tell that even the morning sun promises good weather for the day. The sun had barely crested over the treetops, blanketing the forest floor facing Sasha’s bedroom with streams of liquid gold when Misty knocked on her door that breakfast would be served together with the rest of the Fire Moon Pack—and some of the Shadow Rose Pack, of course.

Watching her lose it, I could not help but feel a twisted sense of triumph bubble up inside me. However, I had given her too much credit for her resilience. Janet blackmailed Galarva, threatening to expose his consumption of forbidden beef unless he let them go. Galarva, the wealthiest man in town, could not afford a single scratch on his reputation. Even with all his money, eating beef was forbidden in the Indoria faith. To keep that scandal under wraps, he had no choice but to let them walk free, but not before he gave them a thrashing they would not forget.

I wore a pair of shorts. When breakfast was ready she joined me at the table and ate like she had never eaten before. Toast, butter and jam, an omelet with chunks of ham, bell pepper, green onions, mushrooms and cheese in it and hot strong coffee with just a little chicory in it. All of it disappeared into her. She didn't ask for one of those flavored additives for the coffee. After she ate she wandered around the cabin a little. She looked over the book shelves and picked a book called "Consequences: Intended and Unintended" By Nick Peterson. She thumbed into the book and read a page.

I feel like from this moment onward, I could save a burning orphanage, and he’d still be like, “Cool, but remember that time you fucked Knox?” We reach the dining room, where one single setting waits on the massive table. A king’s feast for one: scrambled eggs, avocado toast, buttery croissants, fruit, and a steaming cup of black coffee. Clearly, this was meant for me. Who else hasn't eaten their breakfast at 11:30? “This discussion isn’t over, Finn,” I warn, already salivating. He kisses my cheek. “Eat up. You look like a ghost right now.”
