Novel & Cerita Broken Blade Book

“I didn’t mean to—” Before I could finish, Ryder shoved the stall door open and stormed toward me. I felt so much fear at that moment. Ryder was bigger than me and seemed to take pleasure in reminding me of it. I backed away instinctively. “Ryder, I really didn’t—” The slap came so fast I didn’t even see it. Pain exploded across my cheek. My head snapped sideways. For a second, all I heard was ringing. The sting spread across my face and into my ear. I stumbled and my eyes watered instantly.

"I won't let go." Rhydian smiled through the blood on his lips. "You never have to." The Twin Blades merged into one brilliant white sword. Its light pierced the heavens. The King of the Void looked at the weapon. For the first time... It took a single step backward. "You forged..." Its voice carried something unfamiliar. "...the Blade of Beginning." The Creator smiled. "No. They did." The white blade released a pulse of light that spread across the collapsing world. Dead trees bloomed. Broken stone became green with life. The frightened Gatekeepers felt hope returning to their hearts. Even the widening crack in the sky stopped growing.

Belief. I had given all three. The scars lived on my skin. My mind held the names of those who died in divine silence. My faith had fractured under what I had seen—but I stayed. And tonight, I would give more. I stepped onto the dais and lifted the ceremonial dagger—the Black Blade. Not forged metal, but obsidian fused with the bones of priestesses who had died mid-prophecy, minds split by divine madness. It could cut through flesh… and fate. I drew it across my palm again, deeper than before. My blood struck the altar and hissed.

And when it broke— ‎It broke wrong. ‎ ‎A sharp pressure dug into my ribs. I gasped awake. ‎ ‎It wasn’t a dream. ‎It was a man. ‎ ‎A shadow. ‎A stranger. ‎A knife flashing down like silver lightning. ‎ ‎I screamed—loud, hoarse, panicked. But the blade grazed me first, slicing into the side of my torso. Warm blood spilled instantly, soaking the thin fabric of my dress. ‎ ‎Pain exploded. I couldn’t breathe. My arms flailed, trying to push him off, but he was too strong. His weight crushed my chest, the knife rising again—

MINTHE A Book Character * * * The ceremonial blade is still spinning on the marble when I realize nobody is coming after him. The metallic clang keeps echoing through the hall in uneven rings, scraping against my skull while blood slides slowly down my wrist and drips onto white silk. One drop. Then another. Nobody moves. Holy shit.

you unmade me. "The blade demands blood," a voice whispered beneath the agony—Cael’s voice. Guiding. Twisting. Smiling". My senses collapsed—numb, deadened—swallowed by the silence of submission. Yet again, I was not Henry. Not anymore. Just the Blade. Just ruin it in a man’s shape. It laughed through me—mad, broken, triumphant—as I watched from behind a prison of bone and blood, begging to be free, even as the monster and still, I raised my hands—because the Blade still wasn’t done. It wanted more destruction, more chaos, more blood.

Amara Pain makes you honest. My knees buckled as her blade caught me in the ribs, the edge sharp with something more than steel. It sliced through skin and memory. I gasped, vision doubling for a second. The blood running down my side felt colder than it should’ve. Fracture-blades didn’t just cut the body. They cut the soul. She smirked as I staggered. “You thought love would shield you?” “No,” I panted, straightening. “I thought I didn’t need to be shielded anymore.”

The whispers grew louder, but I pushed back, channeling the same defiance that had broken the mate bond. --- The blade began to crack, its dark energy spiraling out of control. Veyron screamed in rage, throwing Darius off and turning toward me. “You’ll destroy us all!” he bellowed, his voice filled with desperation. “Maybe,” I replied, my hands trembling as I poured my will into the blade. “But at least it’ll be on my terms.” The chamber shook violently, and the blade shattered in an explosion of light and darkness. When the light faded, I found myself on my knees, the world spinning around me. Veyron was nowhere to be seen, his presence seemingly erased.

“I was able to read the book given to me by the guardian of the sprites.” I paused taking in everyones expression before I continued, making sure not to add unnecessary details because I knew if they were aware of what I really had to do then they would do everything in their power to stop me and hence Colby succeeding in his plot to take over and fill the world with evil and blood. “What did it say Anna?” Draven countered quickly, his expression still strained. I squeezed his hand and then continued. “According to the book I need a very specific blade and I will need a group of men, some of the best we have to accompany me.”

Into the blade. Light flooded the black metal, filling the carved symbols. They glowed – wrong at first, resisting – then cracked. A sharp, splintering sound split the air. Mira's eyes widened. "No – " I tightened my grip. Pushed. The gold burned brighter – hotter than anything I'd felt before. The blade fractured. Lines spreading like spiderwebs across its surface – then it shattered. Shards exploded outward. One sliced across my arm. Another caught Mira's cheek.
