Broken Blade Book Novels & Stories

The stares from the people are beginning to make me feel more abashed. As I take a step forward, I feel a sharp pain in my head and the last thing I hear is the screams of people before darkness, the ever welcomed darkness consumes me. Author’s note; Thank you for reading, stay safe.

With nowhere to direct his rage, Dylan kicked the shelf in the corner over. He scanned the empty quarter as a sense of dread overtook him. “Sarah… “I hope she isn’t trying to do anything drastic…” Dylan smashed the window. The broken shards flew everywhere, cutting his arm. The sharp pang reminded him of Sarah’s scarred body. By the looks of the injuries, she must be hurting. He could not fathom the extent of Sarah’s suffering. She survived five years on a remote island, only to be reduced to a servant upon her return.

“I am. Why? Are you afraid now?” I fought the urge to run. “I will live… right?” “Don’t worry, your book missed one vital information. There was actually one who survived,” he replied instead. “There were three people who were foolish enough to do what you are doing now. And one of them got lucky.” “Who?” Blade just shrugged. “Is that person okay?” “He is alive, Katniss. Isn’t that the most important thing? And since you seem to be as foolish as him, you will live, too.” Blade shook his head and added, “Foolish people are needlessly brave.”

“If you keep defying them, they’ll break you. Or kill you. Or worse—use you as bait.” My fingers curl slowly. “I won’t break,” I say. “And I won’t help them.” “You don’t get to choose anymore,” he replies, just as quietly. That’s when I move. The blade is in my hand before his brain catches up—small, narrow, honed to a whisper. I slash upward in a clean, controlled arc. Rune yelps, jerking back as blood beads along his forearm, red against pale skin. The room erupts into motion.

This was my punishment. “Don’t worry, I have no intentions of killing you… yet. Stone has a plan, and you are the key. By the time we are done, the kingdom will be ours,” he laughed. The sound sent cold shivers down my spine. Pain! Hot burning pain— merciless, scalding and unending. My screams only made him wilder. “Scream louder!” he roared, diving the blade through my thighs. I stared at the open wound, my breath in ragged breaths, I wasn’t healing. The blade sizzled, like it was savouring my blood. It wasn’t a normal blade. It had been cloaked by magic.

The sword known as the treasure of Blade's Reach was destroyed by Adrian. Hansen looked at the shattered Lunar Edge, completely stunned. The next moment, Adrian struck again with the Hellblade, which carried a killing intent that surpassed everything. The attack was about to fall on Hansen's neck.

His sword started to glow, and a powerful burst of light struck where the Swarm Queen stood like a lightning bolt. "Zephyr Slash!" The blade flashed brilliantly, carrying an unsettling presence around it. However, the attack was only half completed and was still in mid-air when the Swarm Queen extended her right hand ahead. The blade in her hand immediately struck upward. Clang! There was a loud clang, and the longsword possessing murderous intent broke into two…

Who all greeted me with so much excitement and others kept seeing me as Landon’s girlfriend, which I had to deny so many times that I’m just a friend. “You look really cute.” One of them, Blake commented. He had red hair, a few piercings on his ears and nose, and he was quite tall and muscular. Red beautiful eyes and if I didn’t know him, I would say he was quite a celebrity. He also had tattoos all over his torso except for the visible areas. “Thanks.” I took a step back, and he kept coming forward. “Blake, she is off limits.” Another one named Jeremy came in with a bright smile.

He was strong, but he wasn’t invincible. With a roar that tore from the depths of me, I drove the broken blade into his side. His scream ripped through the chamber, echoing off stone and flame. He stumbled back, clutching the wound, hatred searing in his gaze. For a moment, I thought he’d fall. For a moment, I thought it was over.

A broken blade appeared in front of him, and it was surrounded by a dark gray mist. The broken blade had dark red runes around it that glowed faintly. There was a strange form of energy to it. Fane attacked so quickly that those two did not have the time to react at all. He pushed forward, and the Broken Soul Blade immediately rushed into the cyclone with imperious force.
