Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

The moment the jade bracelet fell to the ground, it fell to pieces and broke into several pieces. Her grandmother passed it on to her mother. After decades, it was... broken by her. Gale's heart also shattered. She squatted down, knelt on the floor, and carefully picked up the broken jade bracelets piece by piece. She murmured, "Shawn, your heart is so cruel… You never give me any chances, and you must completely cut off my hope." Gale worked hard to piece together the jade bracelet. However, cracks were so obvious, even if they were glued together, there would be clear traces.

It's a good book. But it's too slow burn. So many chapters and still ongoing.... I wish for authornim to find conclusion to end this book. Hopefully a HE together for Shawn and Gale with their twins.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.

The Broken Alpha

The Broken Alpha

“Don’t tell me. But you know I’ll give as good as I get.” “I’m counting on it.” Atticus could hardly see through the rage brimming within him, tinting his vision red. It turned Ralphin – his Beta, his best friend – into nothing more than a gleaming target. His hold on himself was slipping with every word, every taunt, and every second that he couldn’t get the sight of Lily’s crumpled face out of his head. He’d broken her. He’d felt it, the beginnings of love, the irrevocable ties of the mate bond – and he’d broken her. And, he thought, side-stepping one of Ralphin’s better kicks, he’d broken himself, too.

Played. The word echoed ominously. As they left the gala, Emily knew something had shifted. Not broken. But cracked. And cracks, once formed, never truly disappear.

Eclipsed Wolves

“Nova say something?” “She doesn’t have to,” Selene replied, pouring soup into a chipped ceramic mug. “The air’s been off since yesterday. She’s pacing again.” “Atlas hasn’t stopped growling under his breath. It’s charming.” Selene smiled faintly and held out the mug. “Here. Try not to break it.” “I’ve only broken two mugs this month.” “Three,” Luka corrected, walking in with a small stack of books tucked under one arm. “One shattered. Two cracked. And one suspiciously vanished after your last temper tantrum.”

Fire Wolf - Alphas' King

"Are you okay, Emma?" Teal asked. I nodded my head. My gaze caught the dark leather tome. The sparkling increased and it burst into the air, it threw the book into the air and it tore into thousands of tiny pieces. The part of my brain seemed to shut off. My pulse quickened, "What's this?" I asked. "We broke the spell," Sap whispered, still in shock. I was staring at her, "Why am I precious? You know everything about me, indeed everyone." I swiped my gaze on Carlos.

Winning Back My Ex

Winning Back My Ex

Matteo sat on the living room sofa with his hands on his head, thinking about how everything had turned into such a disaster in less than forty-eight hours. Galata left the garage of the house; however, after driving a couple of kilometers, she pulled over to the side of the road and burst into tears. No matter how strong she tried to appear, the pain was there—lacerating, cruel—so intense she found it difficult to breathe.

I Became the Obsidian Lycan King’s Obsession

I Became the Obsidian Lycan King’s Obsession

Serena’s POV Gale was still in the medical wing when we spread the torn ledger page under the full light of the study lamps. The physician had cleaned the cut on his temple and confirmed that the ribs underneath the bruising were cracked but not broken. He had ordered rest. Gale had given the kind of short agreement that meant he would rest only after the page had been fully read. Alaric placed the torn sheet in the center of the desk. I stood on one side. Gale sat on the other with his back straight despite the pain. The columns of dates and notations that had looked incomplete in the cellar lantern light became sharper under the steady lamps.

Moonlit Pages

"What the hell are you doing, Galen?" Zoren walked inside the palace and saw Galen frantically shaking a book on the table. "What are you trying to do—is that the cursed book?" "No, this one is the witch's book one," he replied, and then looked down at the book on the table. "Oh, that one, yeah! This one is the cursed book." "Why do you have them out here, and why are you shaking that one?" "I just thought that I should," he responded, a bit worried. The sour smile on his face was good enough for Zoren to have questions.

Mother of the Moon

Broken sobs burst from within me and I felt like my heart was being ripped from my chest. “It’s alright, you’re alright” Galterio said softy as he pulled me into his lap and forced my head to his chest. “I got you Beauty, you’re okay” he said with a smooth tone while he brushed his hand over my head and hair. I slapped his hand away and pushed myself off of his lap. He looked hurt or angry at my rejection, but quickly brushed over it with a charming smile. “What am I doing here Alpha Galterio? Where are we and why aren’t I healing?” I asked, letting him hear

Fantastic series, I can't wait to read book 3. The story is gripping, the characters are engaging, it's the type of story once you start you can't put it down. The author is extremely talented, you can tell she gives this her all. Thank you Kay Pearson, I can't wait to see what you do next :)
