Roland barked. I burst into uncontrollable tears as my knees fell to the ground immediately. I wouldn't let him go like that. I loved him with all my heart and begging for his love in front of everyone is the least I can do to prove it. What would happen to me then? My life was already screwed from being born as an Omega, what would I do without him. "Psst.....Shameless woman" I heard someone say. I shot a dirty glance to the direction the sound came from and ignored it. Ladies were already gossiping and whispering in low tunes.

And now he's gone, leaving me alone and broken. I sink to the ground, unable to stand. Tears stream down my face, blurring my vision. I clutch my chest, trying to ease the ache. But it's useless. Nothing can fill the void he has left in me. Nothing can make me whole again. I'm shattered, like a glass vase that has fallen from a great height. I can't be fixed, I can't be saved. I'm doomed to live in this misery, this emptiness, this darkness.

Around midnight, a heavy downpour started, he stood in the middle of the street and let the rain wash down on him as if cleansing him from his heartbreak. He found himself in a park, an abandoned park with litters laying every where, he walked to a bench and sat down, the rain still falling on him. The flowers have lost their beauty, they looked rough and crumpled, he watched as some petals fell off with a wave of his hand. He had his first heartbreak at eighteen and now he was receiving his second at twenty one and yet, he hasn't learnt his lesson, it still hurt like the first time.

The thing about heartbreak was you can’t see anyone other than the person that had hurt you. You can’t see how someone else looks at you because you’re blinded by the pain and betrayal from the past. You looked at everyone like they’re out to get you. Life becomes a series of black and white. Right and wrong. Good and bad. It’s bleak, lonely, and sad. Laughter becomes fleeting and happiness seems nonexistent. And though you appreciate the company and support the wound was still there. Someone may fill up the gap but it doesn’t heal the wound from the past.

Because once when I'm alone this is me. The foolish, Stupid Broken Adassah. Who does nothing about her broken heart but to cry in pain again and again.
