Alpha Gray sighed in awe. "How about this?" Nueva lifted her closed hand in the air, and when she opened it, a blue orb ignited, shining bright in her palm. Nueva threw the small sphere into the air, and it exploded like a firework, and a flurry of snow floated down around them. The tiny snowflakes landed on top of their heads and shoulders. "Now you are glowing too." Nueva giggled with an almost childlike sound. "Oh man, it's snowing!" A drunken voice slurred loudly from the front porch.

Brax, Luca, Eva, and Noah had subtly changed my view, and with each moment, I felt like I was discovering a new part of myself — one that wasn't overshadowed by fear and uncertainty. I ran towards her and said, "Snow! Drop that bat! It's Will!" "Oops!" Snow opened her mouth and dropped the bat on the ground.
