Spike stated as he proposed to her about his wacky idea while he was telling her about it. Her eyes widened in astonishment as she listened to Spike’s words, and he could only smile at her as he waited for her response while his pulse raced in anticipation of her acceptance or rejection of the proposal he had made to her.
