***** Sidney's POV: [continues] Just like everything I bring up a topic about that boy—Wade McCoy, my father always left it hanging. Wade was three years older than I was. When I first met him at thirteen...in the abandoned warehouse. He was dirty, smelly and mute. Only sound he ever made was of tears until lately. When dad first showed him to me, he said he was getting what he deserved. Mr. Jacob would have him beaten and scarred terribly everytime he came too. His body had become cloth with many tears. And after it all, he would get injected, and he'd fall asleep for hours...

Out of nowhere, Wade came back into the room and had the guy pushed up against the wall with one hand before Alex could register he was even there. "Listen you little shit, if you ever presume to touch or disrespect my girlfriend or her sister again, I will fuck you up." Rick tried to say something smart-ass, but Wade slapped him, hard. Wincing in pain, the guy squirmed. "Do you fucking get me, kid?" Wade said, pushing him further. "Don't you ever sass me or I will beat you into the fucking ground, boy. I will fucking destroy you." Finally, Rick nodded, thoroughly cowed and retreated.

I hit my head with my hands, trying to push away the confusing thoughts as I continued walking to class. The final bell rang and I hesitated to leave the classroom. I knew what awaited me outside; a group of bullies, ready to pounce on me. I waited for everyone to leave, but it seemed like they were taking their own sweet time. As I was lost in my thoughts, I suddenly felt something cold and wet dripping on my head. I gasped in shock and looked back to see Steve's friends, grinning at me. They had poured water on me. My shirt was soaked, and my skin was visible from underneath. I felt a pang of embarrassment and shame wash over me.

Wade was at home, working out when he casually checked the cameras at the club during his workout break. Ever since that day at Roger’s birthday party with all the embarrassment he faced, he began taking martial arts seriously, practicing at odd times. Nothing interesting ever caught his attention, except footage at the club’s car park. Two familiar women stepped out of a Bentley Continental Damson. “It can’t be,” he murmured. His best friend, Chad, who had come to visit, asked seriously, “What can’t be?”

One of the guys asked. "She'll be useful for our plan to succeed. Remember Kaley Bryce? I think she's his new girl. He took away my favorite and precious girl in my life! I'll take his, too! It will serve as a punishment for my sister's death!" Wade's eyes looks like burning with fire. He dropped his clenched, pale fist in to the glass table and it got cracked. "He didn't literally kill Maristal, right? You're sister commit suicide! Why do want him to repent on the sin when he didn't do it?"

She knew, at that moment, she was just one of Wade’s pawns. “Hmph! You can only blame your stupidity. If I really become the family master, what if your son returns when I’m stable in the position? By then, nobody can take it from me without a fight!” spoke the indignant Wade. “I’m unlucky today, and I admit my defeat.” He closed his eyes and said loudly, “Come, Nash Woods! Make it quick!” Fwoosh! Nash held his sword tightly and swung it downward. Wade’s head fell to the ground as his body fell backward.

I blew the hair out of my face but my efforts were to no use. Unexpectedly, Ryder placed my unruly strands away from my face and I averted eye contact. "Thankyou." I say. "You look horrible, why would you go out of the house like that." Well that hurt, I thought I looked nice. My eyes welled up and I tried to get out of his hold. "Stop." He said and held me in place. "Why so you could bully me even more." I retorted, he smiled at me as if proud that I stood up to him. It was rare to see Ryder smile, it was so genuine and showed another side of him. Doesn't erase the fact that he's a psycho who feeds off my pain.
