Buried Bloodline Destiny 2 Novels & Stories

While it was unknown how Red Rose had managed to locate him, let alone send him a message, the important thing was that he was here. “I apologize for my lateness. I would make it up to you later. For now, how about you accept this gift.” Destiny, the mysterious 2nd Ancestor of Intersection, pulled out a figure that had not been visible before because it was at his other side and hidden from Red Rose’s eyes. “Oh? You caught this dimwit? No wonder it was so quiet.” Red Rose’s eyes lit up as she spotted the dead undead Wind Demon in Destiny’s hands. In his hands was a Wind Demon that was all too familiar. It was the assassin that had been hidden in the shadows, waiting for the chance to strike;

I said. The road went quiet. “Can it be undone?” Rhydian asked. I thought about the woman in white, the land at confluence, still and warm now, Tomas’s grandmother, Zevran’s father, the wolves at the boundary with tears drying and something lost returned. “No,” I said. “The return’s permanent. You can’t take back what’s been given. The bond’s set.” I looked at him. “But Carrier Two’s mark, it’s new. Active. If anyone knows bloodline engineering and gets hold of that…..”

He looked at the painting, then at Lily, and then at Dante, his face twisted into a mask of pure, unadulterated triumph. "The bloodline is finally gathered," Silas sneered, his hand dropping to the holster at his hip. "Everything I built, everything your father destroyed, it all comes back to this one room. The sins of the parents... visited upon the children." Dante raised his weapon, his focus narrowing until there was only the target, the weapon, and the woman who was finally, undeniably, his own. The connection wasn't just a history; it was a destiny. And as the Rossi guards began to close the circle, Dante knew that the only way to survive the truth was to become the very thing the Ross

“She’s good for him and he’s good for her.” “Just tell Arya not to call me ‘daddy’,” Hudson said. “Fuck, Hudson,” Gage said, but his lips curled up in a smile. The conversation turned back to the Chinese, their locations, safe houses that we’d discovered and their main source of income, which were drugs. Between Wrath and Hamil, they’d gotten us a shitload of information we needed to work through. We would strike back, here in the city, in Briarwood and the surrounding areas and anywhere else they tried to hide. We were going to eliminate an entire bloodline, like Dominic had done with the Italian Mafia 23 years earlier.

The forest, the wolf murmured. Darius nodded slowly. “The curse awakens when the royal bloodline grows too proud, and we all know you are so adamant about doing the needful.” Silence filled the room in that instant. Finally, Kaelen asked, “What stops it?” Darius looked directly at him. “There is only one solution.” Kaelen didn’t like the sound of that. Darius continued. “The Alpha heir must unite the bloodline with the one race we rejected.” Kaelen already knew where this was going.

The one who buried us. The words sent a cold flash through her mind. Not memory. Not fully. But enough. A room deep beneath the house. Blood on the floor. Kael younger, or something like him, standing in the dark with a black ring in his hand while someone else cried out behind him. The image twisted and sharpened, and suddenly she saw the truth with sick clarity. The first body had not only been buried in the house. It had been buried inside Kael’s line, inside the blood of the men who came before him, used as a lock that would one day be opened by the wrong bond. Her breath broke. “Kael,” she said, forcing the bond toward him like a hand reaching through fire. “Come back to me.”

Out here, in the snow-covered wilderness, the world felt open—wild, unpredictable. Ghost, ever vigilant, trotted beside them, his ears alert to every sound. Asha couldn’t help but wonder how much longer she could keep her emotions in check. The closer they got to Greywatch Spire, the more she could feel the pull of her people’s legacy. The Soulbone Imprint was more than just a key—it was a weapon, a curse. And she was its keeper. “We need to be careful,” Darian whispered, breaking her thoughts. “If the Blood Pact Beasts are being kept at Greywatch, it’ll be heavily guarded. We’ll need to get in quietly, and we’ll need to find a way to disable their defenses.”

“My only job today is to make sure you don’t give birth. The Falcone heir can’t be a bastard.” "He's not a bastard!" I used my last ounce of strength to protect my stomach. "I told you, he's Darren's child..." I felt a warm gush of liquid between my legs. It was blood. A lot of blood. "Stop... please, stop..." She paid no attention, continuing to kick and punch me. "The Falcone bloodline will not be tainted!" Despair washed over me. I knew my baby wasn't going to make it. I lost consciousness completely.

Then it’s time I set the record straight. Lisa, they’ll never talk shit about us again. You deserve respect. “What are you doing?” Lorraine asked, confused, as I started pulling off my shirt. “The only guy here is out cold. I think it’s time to set a few things straight.” I walked over to Annie and handed her my clothes. “I’m Eliza Singer, daughter of Robert Singer, descendant of the Arches Clan’s beta bloodline. And just for the record—it wasn’t William who killed that insane vampire. That was me.”

She *recognized* the intent before it formed. Not attack. Offering. A thin line opened across Kali’s palm. Gold did not spill from it. Something darker. Something deeper. Not divine ichor. Not vampire blood. Something *older than both.* “Take it,” Kali said. The words were not a suggestion. Celeste’s HUD flickered violently. > **UNKNOWN BLOODLINE DETECTED** > **CLASSIFICATION: ???** > **COMPATIBILITY: CONDITIONAL** > **WARNING: IRREVERSIBLE INTEGRATION POSSIBLE**
