Mated to the Rogue Lycan

Mated to the Rogue Lycan

I hissed, clawing at his hand. “ Use your mouth where it’s needed. ” He hissed through his gritted teeth as his eyes flashed red. I smacked his arm. Once. Twice. Thrice. But he didn’t let go. Tears welled in my eyes when sharp pain traveled up my face, and straight into my head. The skin on my arms burned. When I glanced at my hands, the black marks on them were slowly beginning to turn purple. The engravings moved and shifted under my gaze.

Love this book and the characters. The author has a wonderful way of weaving in comedy into the serious, sweet & heavy moments, just like in real life where people use awkward statements and comical redirects to cope with awkward situations. Her characters are well developed & I love her stories!

The Curse Alpha's Son

The Curse Alpha's Son

There were no other marks that I could identify, it wasn't anywhere near my stomach or anywhere around my anterior I turned around looking behind at the full lengthe mirror to look at my naked posterior and so far I could not find any more marks to suggest any other thing was done to me except this weird looking burnt mark on my chest. What did it mean!? I wondered as I got closer to the mirror to take a closer look at the mark. I reached out to touch it, I wanted to make sure there was nothing there that would explain what I saw earlier today. The moment my fingertips grazed the burnt spot it seemed to pulse and it gave off a red glow of heat as soon as I touched it. I pulled back my hand a

Flora was contemplating. She was aware that if she let the guide help her apply the sunscreen lotions on her back, he would see the ugly scar she had from a flat iron Lambert had once pressed on her. It had been years, but the scar it left would still be visible. It hurt like hell during those times as she had no one to help her. She couldn't reach the spot with her hands to apply meds on it, so the scar it left was quite noticeable with the shape of a flat iron that the edges of the scar now have fibrous connective tissues. With the healthy pink skin tone that Flora has, the scar was visible and easy to identify what caused the burn.

Really enjoyable, sweet stories where real emotional connections are made between people looking & finding love & physical connections; some by those who are aware they need it & by some of those who may not quite acknowledge that need. Very imaginative & sincere, and hot. Thanks for great stories!

My Monster

My Monster

My hand shoots up to grasp the burned skin, my fingertips brushing the blistered flesh. When I turn towards the mirror, the air rushes out of my lungs. Holy hell. The entire left side and right side of my neck are scorched black and red, veins outlined like molten cracks in stone. Her sanctum fire burned straight through skin, through layers of tissue, branding me down to the soul. It’s a mark only she could leave. A mark that should've killed me. A low growl builds in my chest, but not at her. Never at her. No. This rage is reserved for one person.

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

The wall is rough under my fingers, a small mercy to keep me upright. I glance around the cave, searching for anything—anything—that could help me set her body on fire. My eyes dart to the ground, the corners, the shadows. There’s nothing. Not a single thing I can use. Frustration boils in my chest, mixing with the pain. My fists clench, and I let out a furious growl that echoes through the cavern. The sound is raw, animalistic, but it’s not enough to release the rage building inside me. Then, out of nowhere, my mark starts to burn. The heat is sudden, sharp, and impossible to ignore. I clutch my shoulder, gasping as the mark glows brighter and brighter, its light spreading across my skin.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

The Alpha's Golden-eyed Seer

He sat at the foot of the bed. “Yeah. She told me about the mark, but when I saw it, I saw the reddish skin around its edges and she said it burns when you are around. The burning part I know and it’s predictable, but the skin reddishness is something I am worried about.” “What do you mean?”

Is it a birthmark? If it was a birthmark, how come I have never noticed it before? I should have seen it. As I splash some more cold water on my face, some water hits the red spot, and the sensation makes the outer skin covering the area uncomfortable. The splash of water on my skin feels like the mark is burning. Why am I feeling this burning sensation?

The Vampire King's Captive Slave

He explained. I chewed on the bottom of my lip. I have never before experienced the sensation of my birthmark being burned. This clover mark has been on my body ever since the moment my mother brought me into the world to be born. I have no idea why this is happening to me. I had the impression that the sword had consumed the energy that it had granted me earlier, which is the likely cause of my current state of weakness. My body hit the ground for no apparent cause, and Brixton picked me up as soon as he saw me there. He informed me that the sword is tainted with poison, and I assume that the sword is to blame for the burn on my skin. Despite this, the medical professionals who examined me

Claimed by Three Alphas, Fated to One

My hoodie was stuck to the smell of earth, which blended with something that smalls like smoke… Ash? I sat up fast and soon regretted it. My head spun as if someone hit me with a bat in the skull. My hands braced the ground instinctively and— “What the hell,” I muttered. My right wrist stung. I twisted it around and I was shock. There was a mark burned into my skin—barely visible, but definitely there. Thin, looping lines in a kind of spiral pattern. Not a cut or bruise. Almost like… a brand. My spine tingled with panic.

"He just doesn't realize I won't break on this. I'd rather saw off my arm than give my sister to him." We followed him into his office, while he fired up his laptop. I sat down at my desk, and answered some of my emails. We'd been to the building twenty minutes when I felt it. The burning. I pressed my palm against my breast, feeling my mark throb to the rhythm of my heartbeat. "Are you okay?" Marcus asked. "No," I said, standing up. I unbuttoned the top few buttons of my shirt, and pulled it opened, staring down at my reddened skin.
