Knotting the Hunter

Knotting the Hunter

I pocket her face and turn to the quiet patch of dirt where a person disappeared. That's when my skin starts up for real. The ink goes hot when it's near something it doesn't like, a low burn under the lines on my forearms, hackles I wear on the inside. I’ve been out all night and it's never so much as warmed. Not even when that werewolf was leaning on me. It's burning now, and it climbs toward my elbows when I swing the light to the base of a birch where the grooves finally stop. There’s a mark cut into the bark. Filled with something dark that isn't sap and isn't blood.

This book is so good! The 3 books I’ve read so far from this author are on my top 5 favorite on this app and this one is about to be #4! Love the writing style and love the humor in the story. I’m rooting for Dax and Noah!

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

Dark Chains: Bound by Fate & Passion

Dark Chains: Bound by Fate & Passion

It was a fucking dream, I sighed in relief as I rest my back on the tree. No. Not just a dream. I rolled my shoulder, wincing. The burning pain was still there. I slowly pulled aside my shirt, and my breath hitched. A mark. Charred into my skin, right where the blade had touched me in the dream. Jagged, blackened… still warm. I ran my fingers over it, biting down a cry. It wasn’t fresh like a wound, it looked sealed into me, like a brand. The mark pulsed faintly, almost like it was alive.

Submerged Land

Submerged Land

Adrenaline coursed through my body and I got up from my feet and raised it to jab his eyes out. But just then, something caught my eyes that I had to stop. “Wait, Nathalia.” Byron took that moment to grab my wrist and the fork along with it. “Please. No more. Stop doing anything reckless.” “Byron.”I whispered in a daze as I watched Ylgarr’s chest slowly starting to heal. The skin mended perfectly except for one area. I raised a finger and pointed at it. “Are you seeing that?” Byron followed to where I was pointed and gasped as well. It was a burned mark. A slithering burn mark that resembles a snake.

This is wonderful, I'm totally in love with this book... The plot is interesting, the style of writing is more than unique, and I'm totally hooked by the character's development ... The book is already in my library, and I can't stop myself from being addicted.

Crown of Betrayal

Crown of Betrayal

Blood splattered the stone. It came up thick and dark, burning his throat as he retched again, the sound echoing harshly through the chamber. His vision swam as the mark at his sternum throbbed violently, no longer contained to a narrow brand but widening beneath his palm in jagged, spreading lines of black corruption rimmed with angry red flesh. He sucked in a sharp breath as heat flared higher, crawling up over his collarbones and along his throat, the burn biting deep as the stain crept visibly toward his neck.

Hunt Me, Mark Me

Hunt Me, Mark Me

I barked, shaking her cold flesh. The mark on her skin spread across her body, covering her in a black inked tattoo pattern. I knew it had been spreading but this time it consumed her whole, even across her face and lips. I pulled her off me the second her skin gave off a strong scent. I placed her back on her set and the mark on my sleeve also began to burn. My shirt burned to ash in an instant. I watched the cursed pattern slowly and painfully retract from the back of my palm, to my bicep, and eventually to my chest where it had originated. It felt like having barbed wire dragged across my skin ripping my flesh from my bones.

burn between us

burn between us

Elian held his gaze for a moment — the grey-green eyes doing that thing again, that translation — and then he turned back to the window. "How far to Budapest?" he asked. "Two hours." "I need to contact someone. My handler. To let them know I'm still alive." "Not yet," Dante said. "Not until we know the channel is clean." "What does clean mean to you? Specifically." "No Meridian intercepts on the line. No tracking signature on the device. No location stamp." Dante glanced at him. "Your current burner — how old is it?" "Eleven days." "Dispose of it. I have clean hardware in the bag behind your seat."

Death Wolf

Turning the book to a page with a weird mark on it, I look at it in confusion. "Your rejection mark is not normal Thora. See this." My hands quivered as I took the mirror from his hands, to look closer at my mark. My mouth running dry as I see 4 dark veins on either side of the burned skin. "It.....weird...it wasn't there before." Daniel sighs, looking at me with concerned eyes. "It's the beginning of the mark Thora."

It was so good! Having to chose like that would be so hard, especially after their changes. But great read! It was nice to have an actual story line and not just a bunch of sex. Don’t get me wrong I love the passion in books but this was really good.

Rejected By An Alpha Claimed By A Rogue King

Rejected By An Alpha Claimed By A Rogue King

Fear spreading faster than wildfire. But I barely heard any of it. Because pain suddenly exploded across my arm. I gasped sharply and stumbled backward. Azrael caught me immediately. What happened? Burning heat spread beneath my skin like fire racing through my veins. I looked down at my wrist and froze. A mark was forming beneath my skin. Dark silver. Ancient. Glowing faintly. The same symbols that had glowed beneath the creature’s flesh. The pain intensified. And somewhere far beyond the territory another howl answered the night.

The Luna's Secret Heir

The Luna's Secret Heir

My voice sounded small. But the flame flickered at my words, almost as if it laughed. I swallowed hard and reached out to stir it with a stick. The moment the tip touched the fire, a sharp pain ran up my arm. I gasped and pulled back, staring at my hand. The skin was unburned, but a faint golden mark shimmered beneath it—like light trapped under my flesh. “No…” I whispered. “Not again.” A soft voice echoed inside my head, so faint it could’ve been my own thought.

Rejected Luna, Claimed by the Alpha Who Regretted

So this was the trial. Not symbolic. Not ceremonial. Violent. Rowan’s hand twitched against mine. “Elara,” he rasped. “I’m here.” “You can’t let it choose like this.” His breathing was shallow now. Too shallow. The burn across his chest wasn’t normal fire damage. It looked like the Mark had tried to carve itself into him and failed. “Hold on,” I whispered desperately. Kael knelt on Rowan’s other side, pressing firm hands over the wound to slow the bleeding that had begun beneath the scorched skin.
