*Flashback* I stand to the side and watch as the witch sniffs the air and calls Desirey an imposter. The pure joy my dragon and I feel as she makes her drop to her knees. Then she does something strange, she walks up, slips a glove off and touches a finger to Desirey’s forehead. The witch’s head snaps back and her eyes glow even whiter than normal. It’s only a split second but I watch as she removes her hand, says something in her ancient tongue and I see them all blink before she slips that glove on and walks away with Bjorn chasing her like a love sick puppy.

It is crawling and I watch the horrible scene of the headless body crawling towards the head. Not knowing what to do but predicting that if the body reaches the head and attaches itself then she might be able to heal herself. I don't know how a witch's body works but quickly run back to my mate and lift the knife in my teeth thinking of a way to finish off the witch when I am interrupted with a garbled scream that echoes off behind me. I lost concentration for a second and as soon as I turned back, I was blasted away by a Witch. I screamed in horror as I flew back and hit my body against a wall. I tried to get up, my head was bleeding and my mouth as well. "Ava," Declan yelled and started running towards me. "Zeeda lelonia." I chanted and blew a green smoke towards him. I had never had to use my magic on him before but I had to do it now. He turned back immediately, his eyes color green. He still had to fight, he couldn't leave the battle for me, his people would be killed.

Willow told her. "Damn, I guess Lily was right after all. That changes things." Dante mumbled beside her, shaking his head at her when she wanted to ask what he meant by that. "What else did Hecate say?" Miss J asked earnestly. "The spell used to release her spirit was an ancient demonic spell that no Witch knows about. I think if we can somehow find out what that spell was, we can find a way to reverse it." Willow's hands shook as she attempted to drink her tea, but Dante took the cup from her and instead grabbed her hands to help calm her down. She didn't feel frightened though. I clench my fists, determined to prove her wrong. As she turns to leave, a wicked grin playing on her lips, she pauses and looks back at me. “One last thing, Xavie listens to me.
