Butterfly Myths Novels & Stories

It wouldn't hurt to briefly look around. All I had to guide me were the rumors and myths about the Fae and their realm. The problem with myths, is that you never know what might be real. Myth says the Fae can't lie, but no one has ever been able to prove that. Out of all the legends I knew, there was one fact. Monsters came from this realm, some harboring magic while others had claws, fangs, or poison. All were deadly, and all caused death when they managed to find a portal and cross over. Remembering all of the myths I knew, I suddenly felt very exposed. My eyes darted around the clearing, looking as far into the forest as I could.

Alya gaped. “If that ground story is true, then yes,” Jason stated. “After a few minutes, a pair of butterflies emerged from the grave and happily flew away. Legend has it that the butterflies were reincarnation of the lovers and now, they were together in death. Which is why every year, around this time, couples light up these lanterns to pay respect to them.” He looked around and was not surprised to see Alya crying. I don't know where I am, because the surroundings, not even the sky, are unfamiliar to me. Suddenly I saw something flying in the sky. But I couldn't see them because I was dazzled by the sun's rays. Little by little I hear the beat of the wings of the flying ones. I squinted to see what was coming. When I saw the flying ones, my eyes widened because what I saw was far from what I expected. People who fly and they have wings—it would be more correct to say that they are fairies. Their wings are like those of butterflies. They are so beautiful to look at and that's amazing.

“Do you have sex with the women?” “No, definitely not. With all the diseases people are carrying these days. But Soheila just shrugged her shoulders as she remembered that this was a different world. This world is more fantasy-like.

Then, she held the jar in Nia's hand and said, "These butterflies are so beautiful. They'll make great specimens." "Huh? Won't they be dead if they're turned into specimens?" Nia asked. "Butterflies don't have a long lifespan, and they'll die sooner or later." Yanne rubbed Nia's head. "There are times when humans shouldn't be too emotional. Overly emotional will only cause us to be sensitive, and it's easy to be sad." Nia stared at Yanne, not fully understanding what she meant. Meredith did not know what to say, and it was also inappropriate to argue with her here.
