~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I look around at my beautiful family, and my heart swells with joy. My twins, Selene and Kingdom, are the light of my life. Their laughter fills our home with warmth, and their love is a constant reassurance of how lucky I am.

"Maybe if you could accept being the one you are, then it might come back." Luna nodded, and her grip tightened on the staff. "I accept that I am Altamunar, the daughter of the moon goddess." As the words left her lips, her silver eyes brightened, and a blue light formed around her and Ashford. The staff lit up and began glowing. Phoebe moved aside and watched them; Bartram stood to his feet. He knew that now was the time; his daughter was going to be in between living and dying, and he did not like any minute of it.

Soon, she thought, her mate would see her as she saw herself: beautiful, unique, a prize worthy of any Alpha’s daughter.

Hakan’s POV “Hakan.” I looked up at the sound of my name. My Beta and best friend—Callum, stepped into my office. “Your preparations to travel to Moonlight pack have been arranged. Are you ready to leave?” I rose slowly from my chair, letting out a breath to ease the uneasiness that had settled in my chest over the past few days. “Yes,” I said calmly. “We’ll leave in thirty minutes.” “Alright,” Callum replied, though he didn’t move. He lingered, hesitation evident in his eyes. I knew that look.

Jin, the Moon Guardian replies. The Moon Guardian lives on the moon with six creatures that are cursed to be with him until he finds his bride. Jeon, the nine-tailed fox. Jimin the white cat. Yoon the white wolf. Hyun the white bear. Joon the white owl and Heeseong the white horse. They were all white and they all shine because if they don't, the Moon will just be a dark place. When these Moon Creatures go down to earth, that is where a meteor shower happens.

But I ignored these things right now and went further. I smiled at the lady at the counter. She seemed nice enough with a navy blue suit on. Her gracefully graying hair rolled up in a bun, and those twinkling eyes assured a good sense of humor. “Hello Mam, I'm Fiona White moon, a new student here attending for my senior year " I said while the lady stopped typing and gave me a bright smile. "Oh great Miss White moon, this way please." I followed her and we made our way to the main office to complete some paperwork.

He laughed. “I am just joking,” he said. I continued walking. I know he is not joking, and he actually means it, but I will just ignore him for now. We got to the conference room, and he opened the double doors. We entered inside the big conference room and they were men inside, Asher and Jared being the only people I recognised. They bowed as we entered, except Jared, of course. Silver sat by the head of the table while I sat beside him. “Good morning Alpha and Luna,” they greet. I remembered I am not their Luna officially. The full moon already passed and I have no idea when the next one is coming.

“Brenna, let me know tomorrow if you would like to present yourself before the Moon Goddess as a potential Luna. The full moon is in a few days, so we must prepare.” The Blood Moon was coming, too. But I still had a bit more time. As if reading my mind, she turned and smiled. “The Blood Moon is in three months. Fear not; you have plenty of time to get to know the Alpha before.” I nodded, tilting my head to the side. “And if I reject him as my Mate?”

I will do the stupid Hide and Go Seek in the woods. ‘Thank you. And Sugar?’ “Yeah?’ ‘Whatever happens during the ritual, don’t run and don’t fight me.’ ‘Excuse me?’ He doesn’t answer. I pace my room. The once full blood moon is starting to become a waning gibbous. I always preferred a waxing gibbous. My chest is tight and it feels as if something is trying to claw its way out. I look away from the window and instead sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I barely slept because of the strange feeling.
