Vivian shot him a look of pure loathing as she descended the stairs. Hearing the noise, Johnny turned around. Seeing Vivian, he stood up with a sleazy grin and walked toward her. "Miss Davis, long time no see." He reached out to shake her hand, but she dodged it with blatant revulsion. "What are you doing here?" Johnny gave a malicious chuckle. His sleazy eyes shamelessly looked Vivian up and down before he finally spoke. "I'm here for the final payment, obviously. My dad took the fall for all the charges, and the security bureau is about to pass the sentence. Miss Davis hasn't forgotten about paying the rest of the money, right?"

Mj licked her lips as she cocked her hip out to the side. "What's wrong, little Johnny?” she mocked and noticed that the nickname seemed to ignite a fiery fury behind his eyes, “are you afraid your sister’s balls or bigger than yours?” Mj mocked and noticed very little change so she decided to kick it up a notch “no that's not it is it” she continued and John’s eyes locked onto Mj’s with intrigue dancing inside them.

~ANNA’S POV~ It was late Friday night, and I was cozied up in bed with my phone. I was engrossed in a conversation with Johnny, and my heart skipped a beat as I thought about our intense encounter. Being around him had brought me a sense of calm and comfort that I couldn't shake. His charming presence had captivated me, and I found myself irresistibly drawn to him. As I continued chatting with Johnny, our conversation flowed effortlessly, and I felt like I could talk to him forever. His words were laced with kindness and understanding, and I sensed a deep connection between us.

Johnny asks with a sneer. “Don’t you dare talk about my brother like that! He was captured. We need to find him” Lilliana says, the tears pooling in her eyes from worry. “Oh, no. Stefano Moretti is not my problem. He got what he deserves” Johnny says coldly. This is not the Johnny I know. What happened to make him so cold? Does he hate Stefano that much? “Please Johnny” I ask, giving him the sweetest smile. Johnny looks away first before he turns to face me. He places his hand against my cheek, cupping my face.

Johnny reached for her free hand. She let him hold it. “For what it’s worth,” he said, “he picked the wrong morning.” Grace blinked. “What does that mean?” He stood. Straightened his tie again. Picked up his phone. “It means I’m not going to work.” He began dialing. “Who are you calling?” Grace asked. “A lawyer.” Grace almost laughed from disbelief. “This family is ridiculous.” Johnny gave the faintest smirk. “That’s the first thing we’ve agreed on in days.”

“Ain’t that right, Cassy babe?” “Could you please put me down now?” I politely but irritably asked, and thankfully, he did. I clutched my head, feeling how my blood rushed there and gravity started to pull me down. “Your girlfriend?” Spencer asked, shifting his eyes from me to him. I let out a sound of retch and shook my head, but Johnny wrapped his arm around my shoulders and stuck me to him. “Sometimes,” Johnny proudly answered. “Just call me if you’re still looking for someone. I’d be happy to lend her to you.”

I wave back at her before she hops in. “Mrs. Hendricks, welcome home.” John St. Jacks announces behind my back. I cringe at the sound of his voice. My best face is on as I turn, “Wyatt will suffice. Good morning sir.” He motions for me to go inside, “Please call me Johnny.” I bend to pick up a few boxes. He puts his hand on my shoulder. I’m even more angry now.

"Meeting adjourned." Jess looked down at her phone and saw she had a couple of missed calls from her older brother Johnny. It was odd for him to speak to her at all, let alone call her. She frowned, giving the others a distracted goodbye as she called him back. "Johnny?" she asked when the phone connected. "Where are you?" Johnny asked, his voice sounding oddly strained. "At a friend’s house, why?" she replied. "There's a guy here for you. I can't get rid of him," Johnny told her.

He frowned and stepped out into the hall. “Mom,” he muttered. “Give me a second.” In the Living Room Johnny’s voice grew sharper. “What article?… No, I was trying to end things with Lulu, not create headlines—” Minnie stood frozen in the doorway until he came back in, holding his phone with a grim expression.
