Calvin Evans Lessons In Chemistry Novels & Stories

"The same kind of material she used when she created Calix." I stared at him. "Are you saying he is like Calix?" "Related to how Calix was made, yes," Evans said. "Which means he heals. Which means he is faster and stronger than an ordinary person. Which means he has been operating completely under the radar because nothing about him shows up in standard identification systems." "And he was standing in our driveway," I said. "Yes." "Looking at you." "Yes." "Did he approach you?" "No," Evans said. "By the time I looked up properly he was gone."

He tapped his pen on my shoulder, “sexy just listen.” Turning around I saw Tyler Jones. The typical cliché boy who slept with every single girl. “The fuck is your problem?” I lowly hissed. “Give me a pen.” Scowling at him, I gave him a middle finger and turned towards the teacher. Her front was towards the board, she kept on writing and spoke at the same time, something about chemicals. “When you react nitric acid with calcium hydroxide it forms a compound called calcium nitrate and water. This reaction is a redox reaction and can be explosive at times.”

*Six's POV* The next day during calculus, things seem to be fairly normal between Axle and I, which disappoints me more than it should. Walking into Chemistry, I know we’ve got our first actual lab today, which I’m actually kind of excited about. I walk up to the bench and Emmett, the guy who usually sits at my bench, comes over.

Their chemistry was undeniable, and it was evident that they both desired each other. Calvin got up to take off all his clothes and then looked at Emily, who was in a very messy condition. Again, Calvin smiled at Emily with a flash of passion in his eyes. Not wanting to waste time, Calvin removed all the cloth that was stuck to Emily's body while reading a prayer silently.

Christian muttered in equal shock as Ethlyn. “Yes!! Why not?” Calvin said, shrugging his shoulder. He learned from Zordan about Reva’s pursuing her studies in medicine. So, basically, both sisters had their dream in the same sector. “I didn’t miss how proud you were feeling while talking about Lee in front of my dad.” “I really hope that one day your useless girls will make you feel proud in the same way,” Calvin said, on which Ethlyn growled at him. “What? Nothing is there to feel bad about. It’s true. You both don’t know a thing.”

*** Ethan *** “This place doesn’t look bad,” Calvin praised. “At least this is the only thing that looks great since we got here. That school—it made my skin crawl. Why do the wolf shifters in this pack even go to school? What’s there to learn that you can’t learn at home?” “Stop complaining, I added. Different pack, different laws. You don’t expect this pack to be the same as Crimson .” “I know, I know. It’s just—ugh.” Calvin fell silent for a moment, then asked, “Are there even drinks in this house? I need one after what I’ve been through.”

“Sure.” I gathered the chemicals, and the necessary tools, adjusted the reflux condenser, and began walking him through each step. Measuring. Heating. Timing. I explained why every action mattered. Halfway through, Ivan spoke again. “This is brilliant. Smarter than I was told.” I paused, a tube of chemical hovering over the reflux condenser. Tilting my head, I asked, “What do you mean by that?” “The Alpha King,” he provided, watching the chemical reaction in the condenser. “He explained everything, but… in layman terms.”

“Been practising?” “Yeah.” I cough again and clear my throat. “Yes.” Mostly at night when the whole house is asleep since I can’t catch a break in school. Over the days, I’ve learnt two things. One, chemistry isn’t so bad. Two, nothing is impossible if you have someone like Calum to break it down for you with cue cards.

He remembered late nights spent in the chemistry lab since the man his mom was seeing after his father's death would always make life a living hell for him. He remembered his partners, Emily and Alicia, nervously mixing acids to form things they had no name for. All they were concerned about was the fact that they derived joy from it. “Sorry, but if you're looking for a treasure in this place, you won't find one,” a man walked out of the abandoned looking door, leaning on the wall with his right hand side, and those words seemed to pull Calvin out of his thoughts, although, not completely, judging from the fact that he stared at the tree onve again, before turning to the man.

If I have to study Chemistry to graduate with good grades then so be it. The silence of the classroom was so good that I was lost in the reading, the thought of Mark and his betrayal barely even crossed my mind since my mind was way too occupied trying to memorize chemical formulas and Laws of conservation of energy. Until I heard a shuffle, one which I ignored at first until I heard it again. It was coming from my left. I looked. And groaned. The idiot climbing in through the window with a smug smile on his face was none other than Tyler Edwin.
