Calvin Evans Lessons In Chemistry Novels & Stories

he said, and with that Abigail rushed out the door. "Crazy b****!" Leah laughed. "Yeah... bet you 1000 bucks, she's gonna get yelled at," I said, chuckling. "Today's topic will be 'Laws of Thermochemistry," Mr. Burke announced. "I'm aware that every single one of you, is super excited to start this unit," he said extremely sarcastically. I chuckled under my breath. He could be so adorable sometimes! ••••••• Stepping into the cafeteria, Leah and I scanned the area for a proper seat.

' she thought desperately, her palms suddenly clammy. "Hmm?" The teacher increased her tone. "Were you paying attention in my class? I just said it a moment ago!" "Because it's—" "Because it's an exothermic solution." Melvin. "Exactly! Well done, boy!" She clapped her hands, a smile spreading across her face as the class joined in the applause. Everyone's attention immediately drifted to him—a new chemistry legend, sort of. Miracle could only sit down when Nancy finally moved on to the second question after lecturing her for not paying full focus in class like her deskmate.

I finished up my dinner and excused myself. I went to Evy’s room to get her Chemistry. It was lying on her table. I picked it up and looked at it. She was actually trying to attempt it, but must have given up at some point and began doodling. It wasn’t much, so I decided to stay in her room and finish it up. Evelyn came into the room when I was almost done. “You couldn’t resist could you.” “Academics is my thing; cheerleading is your thing,” I replied.

explained calmly. And then he went on both knees. “I, Jeremiah Lake, swear on my life never to make you do anything you do not want with your body. Whatever contract you’ll sign will state your terms—what you will or won’t wear. I swear. Do you believe me? Do you trust me?” I nodded, because at that moment, I did. “Yes.” “Good.” M.J. carefully cleaned my teary eyes. “And next time? This isn’t med school. If you do not feel up to it, you do not have to show up, okay?”

Evan cheered, swiftly kissing Athena on the lips. We booed and awed at the same time. Calvin took out a bottle and opened it. “Let’s drink to friendship.” He said and took a sip promptly spitting it all out. Evan guffawed like a winner. “I told you I’ll take revenge. Haha, sucker!” “What’s in it?” Zivah took the bottle as Calvin screamed and ran into the washroom to wash his mouth. She sniffed the bottle and winced. “Eww, Evan!”

Calvin was talking nonsense. "She kicked Calvin and said, ""What nonsense are you talking about?""" "However, Evangeline's angry look seemed to be covered up in Calvin's eyes." "He hurriedly dodged and said, ""Evangeline, don't be embarrassed. We're from the same family now. It's not good to avoid the doctor when getting sick. Besides, our mom is a good doctor of traditional Chinese medicine. Maybe she can cure Zion.""" Don't you dare say that! You're such a good-for-nothing who doesn't know anything.

"Eva, I'm here to help Calvin out of the entanglement he has with mom." Eva seemed not to be bothered by my statement, she knew that I hate making myself vulnerable because of my feelings. Alpha Calvin was too handsome, he had a charm that captures girls’ attention, he's even a young professor. Even after everything he had been through in the dungeon he still looked angelic, not able to dim his light. We continued our chat right into the late noon which we had scheduled for our exclusive girls-date. It was to feature only two of us. "Do you have any good clothes to wear?" I asked Eva as we started preparing for our outing.

Evans placed his books on the table before facing them. “Good morning class,” he started, “I believe you are all aware that your exams will be starting next week and after that, you will be getting ready to be admitted into the University of your choice. This is the time you have to prove that all the years of our teaching is not a waste of time and efforts. I wish you all successful results,” Mr. Evans wished them before opening his ‘book of mystical beings’, named by the students. Being a history teacher, he always goes about with the book which contains the tales of some mystical legends and he always tells their stories before the end of his class.

He replied carefully. “Sir, please, I don’t have the basic chemistry down. I would very much like to catch up. I’ve been behind for years.” I replied, trying hard not to beg. He looked me over and nodded. “Very well. Pull up a chair. We only have space here in front unfortunately.” “Thank you Mr Joseph. Would you mind if I record the lesson so I can go over it at home? I’m having a hard time making notes.” Mr Joseph smiled at me and agreed. My classmates’ mouths gaped when I stepped into the classroom.
