The woman was typing something on her computer, and Ava took the opportunity to study her. Because she looked a little older than most supernaturals, Ava couldn’t tell what she was or if she was supernatural at all. She didn’t have the pale skin the vampires did, so she ruled that out. She dressed elegantly, and her greying hair was in a professional bun on top of her head. The name badge on the desk said, ‘Mrs. Benton, Student Welfare Coordinator.’ Ava stood nervously in front of the desk, unsure if she was to just sit or be polite and wait for an invitation. With nothing in her hands now, she could only wring them together while waiting for Mrs. Benton’s attention.

There were folders on the table and Blake is drinking wine. “Leilah, this is my adoptive brother, Blake Valentino. Blake, this is my biological sister, Leilah Rivera.” Colby introduced us. "Make that two," I say, not leaving her gaze. A minute later he places the drinks in front of us, her hand immediately reaching out to bring it to her lips. "Katherine," she says after taking a slow sip, "but my friends call me Kat." "Adam, but everyone calls me Emilio." "I think I'll stick with Adam," she replies haughtily, daring me to tell her otherwise. I lean in closer to her, trailing her body with my eyes again. I can't stop looking at her legs. She notices, and again raises an eyebrow.

I can see that my brother likes you a lot,” Cameron’s sister, who I learned her name was Sabrina, whispered to me when Cameron took another seat in front of his sister. I thought he did not want to be with me since his cousin, the guy named Windell who Daisy hated was in front of me. “Oh, I don’t think that he does like me. You get the wrong idea,” I whispered to Sabrina before her green eyes were holding mischief in them.

I look at the time stamp and that picture was taken and posted eighteen months ago. That was when Cass was still with him. Surely Cass would have known who she was. She would have met her before. But then again, in this picture, Valentina had dark hair. She was a little bigger and wasn’t as tanned as she was now. It is like she has changed her style to grab my attention
