I reached a dumping ground behind some garage, filled with scrapped cars, broken bikes, rusted metal everywhere. I decided to hide there. I slipped between the vehicles, my breath coming out in painful gasps. My chest felt like it was on fire. If I run any longer, I know I will collapse. I crawled under a huge truck and tried to calm myself, pressing my hand against my mouth to quiet my breathing. I called Louis again. Still nothing. I was losing hope. I could hear footsteps nearby.
