The Chosen One

The Chosen One

Feral Camp Devil's Forest In the depths of the devil's forest, in the small clearing stood a large but low, beetle-browed cabin. Its ancient and ramshackle walls stood in an almost unrecognizable way; it was a dirty, six-foot, artificial stern cabin.

Head Over Shoulders

Head Over Shoulders

They all agree, but Jesse insists on following me to drop my things. "But you don't need to. I'll be fine." "Don't be polite. Also, you don't even know your way around the camp. How do you intend to find the lake." "Fine. Fine. Well played." We go to one of the cabins and I kinda underestimated them. Everything is wooden, but they kind of help you take attention of that. There's a carpet on the floor, cool LED lights, a hot tub on the balcony and six bunk beds. "Cool. It's very manly."

The Yellow & Red Sea

The Yellow & Red Sea

Gabriella ordered and we all nodded. Xy and I immediately ran to the west side of the city. The camp is usually at the center where it’s surrounded by the buildings for convenience. I plan to make a distraction to make the troops come out and then take them out one by one as Gabriella, Ace, and Josaiah make their way inside. As I sighted a cauldron lit up on a pole, I immediately entered an abandoned building at least 300-400 meters away from it. That was the north gate of camp. I headed to the rooftop and knelt dwon as I took out my bow. Xy laid down and took out a tablet.

THE HALF BLOOD'S CURSE

THE HALF BLOOD'S CURSE

"We will honor them. We will build a memorial. We will tell their stories. They will not be forgotten." "It is not enough." "It is never enough." He pulled her closer. "But it is something." The half-bloods built a funeral pyre that evening. They laid their dead on the wood, covering them with flowers and banners. Elif lit the pyre with the First Wolf's power, golden flames rising into the darkening sky. The half-bloods howled, a mournful sound that echoed through the mountains, and the pureblood prisoners watched in silence.

THE ALPHA'S HIDDEN HEIRS

THE ALPHA'S HIDDEN HEIRS

It splattered across his face like war paint. The second man was shaking now. He stared at his companion's body as it lay twisted, steaming slightly from the silver that had burned in the wounds. “I-I’ll talk,” he croaked. Eric approached slowly. “Names. Locations. Everything.” “There’s... there’s a camp,” he stammered. “North of Blackpine Temple. Hidden beneath the mountain lake. They’re calling it The Cradle. Vincent,he’s gathering blood mages. Rogues. Shadow wolves.”

the gamma tips his chin at me and makes a weird motion with his hand, like a cowboy with an invisible hat, "Bradley Walters, Blood Moon gamma. Where can we set up camp?" All business. Good. "The barn is at your disposal, as are any of the open lands around the house. There's a creek about a quarter mile to your left. Three bathrooms. One in the workshop by the house, two inside the house, one upstairs and one down. You may use the spare bedroom if you like. Dinner will be ready shortly."

Once Upon An Alpha

Once Upon An Alpha

Six old, dilapidated cabins stood on each side of the dirt road. “These are the campers’ cabins?” I asked Pru as I stopped at the first cabin on the row; the smell of stale cigarette smoke lingered on the breeze. “Yeah...that one.” Pru pointed down to the path to the far cabin. “They make kids sleep in these….” Heather mumbled. “We aren’t here to judge the religious humans, just to watch your friend kill someone.” Alaric brushed his shoulder up against Heather. I glanced at them just in time to see Heather shoot Alaric a sour look as she physically recoiled at his touch. What was this idiot doing? I could count on one hand how many times Heather was comfortable with physical contact from peo

This story is so good!! The author seems to put time and effort behind their characters!! And while peoples choices can be frustrating, baby beta looking at you, they all make sense with how the story is progressing and what’s happened! Couldn’t recommend this book enough!
Space Cow
I love this book. The author has created a wonderful world with well thought characters that I actually care about. The characters aren't perfect, they each have their own flaws and personalities. Each of them have grown in their own ways.

The space between the wrong

The space between the wrong

It looks like the setting of a horror movie, or a memory I’ve tried to suppress. "Are you sure about the floorboard?" Cole asks. "He used to hide my birthday presents there," I say. I’m staring out the window at the familiar peaks. "He called it the 'Vault of Secrets.' I thought it was a game. I didn't realize it was training." We reach the cabin at sunset. It’s a small, weathered structure painted a fading, peeling red. It looks abandoned. The windows are dark, reflecting the cold purple sky. We get out of the car. The silence up here is absolute, broken only by the crunch of our boots on the frozen ground. Cole stays close to me, his hand resting on the small of my back as we reach the por

BULLIED BY MY MATE

BULLIED BY MY MATE

Alera’s POV Winter camp was the one holiday event everyone at college looked forward to. We weren’t camping in tents under the stars, but instead, we’d rented a set of wooden cabins nestled near the Ravenshade River. We brought quite a lot with us—thick jackets, wool socks, boots, flashlights, and survival gear like pocketknives and rope. There were meds, snacks, and ingredients for slow-cooked meals we’d prepare together. Each cabin could fit five people. Whether it was luck or some twisted joke, I ended up sharing a cabin with the cheer squad—Lilian, Clara, Samantha, and Lisa. I could only hope they'd tone down their usual bullying, even just a little.

Blood and Moonlight

Blood and Moonlight

There is really nothing I can think of that would accurately describe how horrible the stench down there was. As I looked around the place, all I could see was grime and more dried blood on the walls. That was until I got to the extreme end of the room, and right there, in the right corner, two skeletons laid side by side, with their clothes and accessories still on. On close look, I could easily tell that those used to be vampires. The fangs were a dead give away. The sight made me feel like my heart had dropped to my stomach and my throat tightened. A shiver ran down my spine and my fingers started twitching. As fast as I could, I headed back for the stairs, climbing back up like I was bei
