The King, The Prince, and the Last Faerie
I smiled at him, the grin wicked and stretched across my face.
“Too late Prince.” I lashed my energy towards him, sparks filling the air as it cracked across the room like a whip. It wouldn’t be enough to kill him like I did his guard, but enough to hurt, and that’s all I wanted right now. I needed blood. I watched as lighting hit him in the center of his chest, and sent him flying against the wall. He slammed into the surface, crumpling to the ground. I sucked in heavy breaths, exhausted from over extending my magic. I could feel my skin crawling, heating up from the overload like an overcharged battery. I leaned back to close my eyes for a second, when a loud cough sounded through the room
