CHAPTER FIVE. The sounds of the chains echoed through the passages as the werewolves' prisoners were pushed out to the backyard where the annual ceremony would take place. Each year, on the day before the full moon, a ceremony would take place where the werewolves captured were experimented on by Dr. Matt. His experiment usually last till the full moon was over. Half-bloods were extremely rare, in the sense that they usually die a few days after their birth. The crown prince, on the other hand, was a sight to behold. He was gorgeous, drop dead gorgeous in every sense. His eyes were a bright silver that was warm and kind at the same time. His long silver hair had blue streaks among them and his long eyelashes were silver.

Isabella’s POV The night air was cool and electric, charged with anticipation as the entire pack gathered beneath the full, glowing Blood Moon. This was no ordinary gathering, tonight marked the sacred Blood Moon Ceremony, a tradition that stretched back centuries, honoring unity and the strength of our pack. A flicker of movement from the shadows caught his attention, and he narrowed his eyes and lowered his body instinctively, evading the claws intended for his neck. He was impressed by their speed, but he was faster. He stood up abruptly and sent his claws towards the neck of his assailant, decapitating him in an instant.
