I grab the keys to my jeep and head uptown, not knowing exactly what I’m going to say except that the bullying needs to stop, now that Ella is mine. The coffee shop is busy for this time of day, but since it’s winter break, the high schoolers are all hanging out instead of being home. I’m sure parents love this time of year, when their already hormonal teenagers are hyped up on caffeine by the time they return home from a long work day. She used to think that bullying and harassment only happens in the movies, but unfortunately, it also happens in real life. She's been a victim of verbal bullying since her freshman year in College, and she is being bullied by the popular clique at their school... So, on one hand, I’m relieved that I don’t have to worry about not having books on my first day of class, but on the other hand, I’m nervous about how Caden might react. Back in high school, when he intentionally broke my laptop and I borrowed his as a replacement, he stormed into my lecture and threw a fit, claiming that I stole his belongings. He even called me a derogatory term in front of the whole class, fully aware that it could get him detention. Well, these days, Caden has upgraded to being a calm, emotionless bully. He no longer screams in my face like he used to. Instead, he launches his attacks with nothing more than a smirk.

The next day rolled in and the event that transpired yesterday at a certain washroom immediately became a hot topic within the campus. Agatha Moore' sister was bullied, the elder sister slapped the bully to death. Then everyone involved was scolded severely by the teachers and guidance counseling staffs. It was made into a big issue due to the involved parties. Students were talking about how it all started between a lackey of a campus goddess and a sister of another campus goddess. The matter had been exaggerated in just a few verbal renditions.

She always does. Moving means another school and having to adjust and face maybe even worse bullying. I cried myself to sleep, refusing to eat dinner or even have breakfast before leaving the house the next morning. As soon as I arrived at school, something even worse spoiled my mood. Jace Carter. Seeing that Evan didn't seem to want to stop his wife's actions, the Dean immediately tried to calm Maya with a polite smile. “Mrs. Orlando, you just came to the university today, so it seems impossible for you to become familiar with the university environment in a short time. Previously, we have never heard of any student being bullied on this campus. The atmosphere on this campus is always under control.
