I’m practically vibrating. Aiden catches my buzz and smiles, wasting no time as he guides me through the towering marble hallways and out into the gardens. The university grounds are massive—perfectly trimmed lawns, tall shade trees, and doms spread out everywhere. They’re either deep in tactical conversation, practicing throws, or leaning against their ludicrously expensive cars, showing off to the girls. Every man here owns a car worth more than most houses. They never drive them—campus life doesn’t allow for much—but ownership is everything in this place.

“I’d love to, Pookie. Watching the girls drool over you would be hilarious. But I’ve got somewhere to be.” I narrowed my eyes. “Secret outing. Of course.” Rolling my eyes, I huffed. “Fine.” Lucas jingled his car keys, already heading for the door. “Noah. Now.” I sighed and followed, but I didn’t miss Gavin’s playful wink behind my back. This was going to be a long day. SIEGE UNIVERSITY The campus was huge, the buildings towering like silent giants. Students bustled around, laughter and chatter filling the air.

The moment I stepped off, my breath caught in my throat. The college campus stretched before us, massive and full of life. Students swarmed the walkways, chatting, rushing to class, lounging under trees with open books or earbuds plugged in. Some looked lost, gripping maps or checking their phones, while others moved with the confidence of people who had done this a million times. Abigail linked her arm through mine. “Come on, Watson. Nyra's pov The handle rattled violently… My breathing stopped, beside me, Kaizen didn't move. His entire body had gone rigid. The person outside lingered for a few seconds before the footsteps slowly retreated down the hallway. Only then did I realize I was holding my breath. What was happening? This was Blackthorne Heights University. One of the most prestigious institutions in Canada. Not some crime-ridden neighborhood.. Not some abandoned building… A university… So why did it suddenly feel like a prison?

she said. I chuckled. "Alright." THE CAMPUS is broad. In front of our dorm were restaurants and cafés. The cafeteria was one hell of a walk from our dorm so we decided to eat in the nearby restaurant. Chanter University has many buildings. Every course has different buildings. Of course, I saw it again on the handbook. There's also a map fastened in there. "What do you want to eat?" Reina asked me. We're standing right in front of the counter, looking for the menus above.

He took me to the heart of the campus, where towering glass buildings stood alongside lush greenery. Everything was sleek, high-tech, and intimidatingly advanced. Even the student lounges looked like something out of a billionaire’s headquarters with digital interfaces, robotic assistants, and private study pods with personalized settings.

I understand I have to adjust because I don’t do it that hard. Fortunately, this school has a garden. This campus is too big, there is a swimming pool area, there is a close gym and open gym, the open field is very wide almost as big as a mall, there is a garden where I am now, the daycare is separated to grade six-ten campuses, there is a TLE room, each lab like computer and chem lab are many besides high school and college, the cafeteria is like a buffet and another cafeteria is like the food court of a mall. It is like a small village of extra size.

I smirked back at him, “You can’t scare me, I saw the barrier.” I kept my eyes straight ahead as I took in the view. Once we got past the tree line, we could see the full campus. Creed parked the car, and we both took a few minutes to take in the view. The classroom building looked like a castle, and it was front and center on the campus. There are three different dormitory buildings off to the right. It looks like there are four stories each. On the left side of the classroom building there is the cafeteria, and a separate coffee shop.

Onyx asked, his brow furrowing with confusion as he glanced between Jade and me. I took a deep breath, preparing to explain. "It's a compulsory camp for college students in my level," I began, trying to keep my explanation simple yet clear. "Basically, it's like this big gathering where students from different colleges come together for two weeks of activities, workshops and bonding. They organize it every year to help us develop teamwork, leadership skills and just to have fun, I guess." I continued, "It's kind of like a break from our regular routine. Plus, they throw in some cool outdoor activities like hiking, campfires and stuff. It's not all lectures and seminars, you know."
