Camé Novels & Stories

They both looked up when I came in. "Leo, Tina, this is Cami Avesque from that fancy city paper I told you about." Leo was a tall skinny man in his thirties; he wore large black glasses that reminded me of Clark Kent. Tina was probably my age and quite pretty. She dressed less conservatively than I did, but most women did.

But then— He saw it. A sleek, black car parked just a few meters away, headlights barely on, casting long, eerie shadows on the pavement. And just outside of it, in the dim glow of a streetlight, stood a man with his phone raised. Recording. Cameron’s entire face twisted in confusion. "Is that—?" "Yeah," I said simply, keeping my voice even. He blinked. "What the hell?" "Exactly." Cameron turned back to me, looking even more confused. His expression was somewhere between angry and completely lost, which, I had to admit, was kind of funny.

Chloe snapped her fingers in the air and yelped, "Yeah, that's it! I'm dying to know if it's true." "Yes, it is. This plane is custom and equipped with an anti-missile system," Defne confirmed enthusiastically. "Aside from that this also carries a stable for transporting horses and the like, a full-choked bar, a gym, a garage space, a compact chapel, and a large jacuzzi bath decorated with LED lights inside Mr. Greyson's pad."

On the last trip before Zeke Malone and I were set to register our marriage, someone clamped a hand over my mouth and dragged me into the bushes to assault me. Zeke and my sister, Crystal Bianco, arrived just in time to "save" me. That was when I heard Zeke switch to French and ask her, "Did you get enough footage just now?" "Yeah," Crystal answered back in French. "But isn't this unfair to Lizzie?" Zeke's voice turned grave. "The man was only acting. He never actually went through with it. We just needed the footage. As long as I don't hold it against her, that's all that matters. "Besides, you could win a Pulitzer for breaking this story. That's what actually matters here." I lay in

Celeste didn’t know how to feel. --- That night, the house was quiet. Too quiet. Celeste couldn’t sleep. She walked through the halls, checking windows and doors. Then she saw it. A small red light was blinking near the edge of the living room. A camera. Her heart pounded. Someone was watching them. She yanked it out of the wall. "Damien!" He rushed in. She showed him the device. He cursed under his breath. "We’ve been compromised again." She whispered, "It never ends."

Once we were secured inside, I placed the phone on speaker, "Please tell me you've found something." "I used cameras from around the city to track her car," he said and I didn't like the edge his tone had taken, "unfortunately, there are blind spots. Places where the city hasn't added cameras and neither the citizens themselves. Chambers must have known about the blindspot. I mean, he's a trained agent. Of course, he fucking did." "What are you saying cub?" I growled, feeling the cold clutches of fear coil around my neck like an invisible noose. With every millisecond that went by, that noose tightened.

They sat into the next empty chance, sliding in some coins Tee had and then making hilarious faces. He loved the way the camera clicked, and they responded with stupid gestures that eventually came out as a collage of four photos. They went on for as long as the cents could take them and when it was exhausted, they stepped out. Mat stuffed the photos into his bag with Toni holding unto one.

Rather I look for blind the spots. The majority of surveillance cameras, much like the ones Craig is using, are called fixed lens cameras. Which basically means that the camera is stationary and cannot move. The downfall of cameras, is that they don't have the ability see everything that a normal eye can see. Rather there are blind spots above, below, and to the sides of the lens. Unlike our eyes that have the ability to move to see around us.

They have similar facial features and hair colours. That guy suddenly gazed at me. "And who's this beautiful lady over here??" He asked nicely, smiling with his eyes. "This is Bambi." Greyson introduced. "Oh hey, i'm Shane Grant. This asshole's brother. Good to have you here." He joked, grabbing my hand and shaking it. Greyson was already tall. But Shane was a bit taller and his skin was a bit darker. But he is so much more chatty and energetic than Greyson can ever be.

“ It must be here somewhere . “ said Luna looking at the ground and searching around for the camera . “ Are you sure that there’s an old camera here ? Even if it was , it faces the wall . From the monitors you could only see the wall . “ said Matteo . “ I think there’s another camera here somewhere apart from the one facing the wall . “ said Luna as she looked around . “ Why are you so sure of it ? I am just curious . “ said Matteo .
