Can Bleeding Hearts Kill You Novels & Stories

It wasn’t black like I’d deduced at first, but a very, very dark shade of red. He sat on the stairs beside me and took my hand in his while I tried to suppress a shudder. He brought the petal close and wrapped it around the bleeding finger. “Hold down the petal, it’ll stop the poisoning.” He said. “Poisoning?” I asked, alarmed. “You’re a new vampire, aren’t you?” He gave me a wry smile. “Black Rose is used as a key ingredient in a daylight bracelet, but if it comes in direct contact with the skin, it can cause poisoning especially for a vampire.”

“If you have small animals or a small child at home, try not to choose such bonsai. They might just accidentally eat it.” “Oleander is four times more poisonous than a king cobra’s venom. Just a single leaf can kill a baby.” Stella’s hand trembled, and her face changed. “How about an adult?” “As long as the dose is enough, it can be fatal to adults. It’s also a quick-acting poison, so be careful!” Stella nodded and managed a ghost of a smile. “It’s such a dangerous thing. I’d better not raise it…” “But it has great medicinal value,” Zeta persuaded with a smile.

Breaking up with me at my lowest wasn't enough, he'd stoop so low to connive with these men to kill me. He broke my heart in the cruelest way ever. I was never going to forgive him for this. What was I even saying? He already won this, my life was going to end in the next few seconds. "Don't worry, we've decided to make your death different from your mother's," he said, withdrawing his phone. The second guy came forward and pointed his pistol at my forehead. "One move from you and you're dead meat," he warned.

Her eyes were no longer pitch black but white like they were before we came in. Hayden helped her to the living room and sat her in the chair there, then I grabbed her water from the fridge. I did not know what she loved to drink, but after all that running, I would assume that she would need water. "Here," I said, and I handed her the water. "Thank you," she said, taking the water from me. After taking a sip, she kept it beside her. " "The poison is nothing serious. It is just the foxglove plant that causes heart attacks. I came with a lot of treatment, and its antidote is there too. We just have to give them the antidote and they will be fine."

Lucian spoke in a possessive type of calm as he looked deep into my eyes before his own gaze drifted to this man, the once tamed darkness he held whenever he looked at me, now on show for this man who shuttered in fear before his beautiful eyes locked with mine again. “Convallaria Majalis or better known as Lily of the Valley, is one of the deadliest flowers you can grow, e-each area of the plant is poisonous and when crushed into a powder like this, it’s deadly.” I quietly explained what I knew about this flower and the deadly consequences it carries if not handled correctly, where in Lucian’s eyes, there seemed to be a mixture of emotions.

"Within 10 to 20 minutes, it would cause an irregular heartbeat, followed by cardiac arrest. The outward signs look almost exactly like a heart attack brought on by high blood pressure. Without a specific toxicology test, it's impossible to detect it." I sat frozen on the bench, completely numb. The comments were right. This bottle was poison. My husband was trying to use his own grandmother's life to frame me for murder.

Healer Asha shakes her head, “But it’s not a guarantee. They’ve nearly been hunted to extinction. I doubt even the council’s healers have access to the flower.” “What flower?!” I bark, not wanting to be left out. I hate that they’re talking like I’m not in the room. They’ve kept me in the loop all this time just to shut me out at the most crucial moment. “Mixing Wolfsbane and Basilik Venom is a deadly combination that can only be fought with the rarest flower on our continent. Years ago, when several of the royal family were poisoned, the healers in the Kingdom Center nearly used every trace of the plant. I’m not sure if there are even any left,” Healer Sarina explains, touching my arm.

Wearing my yellow sundress, I checked on my flowers and watered a few. My eyes roamed around the place, checking for onlookers before I harvested the Monkshood. I planted these a few months ago and luckily, they’re all grown and ready to be unleashed to this place. Monkshood is a powerful poison that kills a person when ingested or eaten. I placed all the Monkshood stalks and leaves in my basket, then I headed to the kitchen where I asked the ladies for the ingredients needed. Completely unsuspecting, they gladly handed them to me. I borrowed the stove for a while and boiled the leaves and stalks.

I stopped and looked around “Where is everyone” “Everybody was expected to be at the ball” “What about you” “I had to stay because they refused to leave, they were worried about you” he explained and I was pretty shocked, I never knew they actually cared for me. I suddenly stopped walking, remembering what had happened before I passed out “Kai, what about Kai he was stabbed in his chest” Getting stabbed in the chest with wolfsbane is a lethal wound, it could kill a wolf within seconds because the wolfsbane would enter the heart immediately.

I snarled, "I got the same reaction but it's what is in the apples." The seeds. I thought to myself. "The seeds. They contain cyanide, and somehow transformed those seeds into cyanide salt. Which results in seizures, slow heart rate, shortness in breath and finally death. So it will play out as a casual heart attack." he blurts out, folding his arms.
