The Billionaire's Dangerous Claim
Right now I was in the garden crouched at a section, carefully plucking out the stubborn weeds trying to compete with the flowers for nutrients and space.
One thing I had quickly learned was that Mrs. Hanson had an interesting taste. Bold, elegant and dangerously poisonous.
The garden was full of them: Foxglove, Monkshood, Angel's Trumpet, Castor Bean, Belladonna and a lot more beautiful killers dressed in soft colors and delicate petals. Gorgeous, but lethal.
Typical of Mrs. Hanson, honestly.
As I shifted to a section of pink flowers fluffy-looking, impossibly charming, I realized I had no idea what they were called.
